I was really impressed with Ismael's thoughtful approach. He strikes a nice balance between giving you objective professional advice but letting you ultimately choose the path forward. He was patient with my myriad questions as well. His quote for service was also the best price I received of 3 vendors I obtained quotes from. Once I gave him approval to order the glass it only took a week from the order to Ismael doing the install. I give him extra credit because we have a textured surface in the shower which adds complexity to the sealing process because the texture means variance in the gap between glass and shower surface. The appointment time came and I did think it odd that I didn't get a reminder text/call but I started waiting for the tech to show up and about 20 mins after their scheduled arrival I called and they didn't have record of my appointment. They said they would look into it and contact me back. They called about 30 minutes later to say they never had an appointment listed but their tech could come out in the afternoon. Luckily I work from home so I said that would work. When the tech showed up he said he was new and forgot to put my name on the appointment book but confirmed it was him that I originally talked to. He did his measurements and said he would get right back to me with the quotes. That was on Friday -- I did finally hear back from him on Monday afternoon. The quote is pretty competitive but since I didn't hear right back from him I am getting a couple of more quotes now. I will update my review if I decided to go with Roadrunner but so far not that impressed.

Since then, I've received texts about unexpected delays, both professional and personal, with assurances that the windows will indeed be installed once all these events subside. From March through June, I followed up and followed up, only to receive excuses/explanations about this or that unforeseen event that hasn't allowed him to complete installation, but not to worry, it will get done. After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. After all this time, I get neither an installation nor even the courtesy of a phone call to explain why. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business. The only reason I left two stars instead of one is the few times I actually spoke to Matt, he was polite. So, I give him a star for that. But he sure didn't fulfill his promise, and there's no reason to treat customers this way.

By then I decided to contact another contractor who was available and interested. The work has been completed by another contractor.
