His employee on the other hand was very respectfup and helpful. And was clearly embarrassed to be associated with his "leader". Then that morning I get an early text that says their grinder belt broke and we decided to just take the tree down and they will come back and do the stump later. Two hours later I get another text it says they would prefer to do the whole project at one time. It's been two weeks and they have not contacted me, they have not responded to my inquiry texts or telephone calls. 10 days later I'm getting more estimates and a guy from another company saw the Allen's Tree Service estimate and said that they substantially lowballed it and now they don't want to honor it. Watch out for Allen's. Definitely not an ethical company to deal with

They arrived promptly in the morning, were extremely pleasant to deal with and had all their own equipment, so they were able to grind the stumps before they left. The crew seemed very accustomed to working with each other, so they were incredibly well coordinated and synchronized, with each person knowing exactly what to do to perform their part of the job to perfection. They were also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

I told him what I thought needed to be done, and he offered advice as to what to trim/remove and what he advised not to. He and his crew arrived timely a couple of days later to perform the work. They were all polite and efficient. Two hours later, the job was done, including blowing all the debris off my driveway (which I hadn't even requested!).
