We recently had 4 very large trees removed from our yard by Everett Tree Service, and I can't say enough good things about the company and the service. Price: We got 4 quotes from local companies and Everett was by far the best. The highest quote was 80% higher than the one from Everett for the identical service. Communication: All emails were returned in a timely fashion and everyone I dealt with was pleasant. Timeliness: The estimator showed up on time (actually a few minutes early which I like). The crew was able to fit us in on an afternoon and showed up very promptly. Service: This is where they REALLY shine. The crew was professional, organized, and very skilled at what they do. The trees came down with no issues, the pieces were hauled to the shredder in front of the house with a big machine, and the stump was ground down very well. What really got me was when the rakes and leaf blowers came out to clean up my yard. I don't think they left a single leaf out there! Extra points: As they were cleaning up out front I asked how much it would cost to knock down 3 smaller (20 foot) crepe myrtles and grind them up since the equipment was already there. Without a breath the crew leader threw out a *very* reasonable number and 5 minutes later the offending crepes were gone. Very pleased in every aspect with Everett Tree Service. They are totally professional, show up with a team who work together to get the job done efficiently, and do it for a very reasonable price, lower than the other estimate I got. About 30 trees were removed from my property. They brought in a large team of perhaps 8 guys, the right equipment for the job (including a huge crane), worked quickly, communicated well with each other and with me, completed the job, and cleaned up, even blowing debris off of my driveway before they left. The owner (Jimmy) worked the crane to lift the trees as they were cut. It was amazing to watch how coordinated and efficient this team was working together with no one standing around. 19 of the trees were removed from behind a brick retaining wall which surely would have been damaged had the trees dropped. We called Everett Tree Service after watching them work at a neighbour's house. Our yard is very difficult due to lay of the land. Not at all level. We had 15 trees to remove. 10 very tall pines and 5 bad hardwoods. 2 very tall. Everette brought all needed equipment, including a large crane since trees in front could not be felled. Staffing was efficient and effective for the job. Once equipment was set up the team worked as a cohesive unit. All trees were down by the end of the day. Unfortunately there was a yellow jacket nest inside the last tree and work had to be stopped. Everett made arrangements to come back and finish. My take on this company. Very professional, efficient, on time (actually did our job a day early). The price? The best of all estimates for the equipment used and number of crew. Sometimes I read reviews and wonder how accurate they really are. After using Everett Tree Service, I can understand why they were rated with 5 stars. 90 minutes after posting on Home Advisor, an estimator was in my driveway and I had a printout immediately . I had 2 other replies, one showed up, one did not. A couple of hours after I accepted the proposal on line, Jimmy Everett stopped by to assess the job. He said he would be here the following day. The crew arrived at 5 o'clock, removed 5 large trees and a couple smaller ones and was gone by 7PM. One man stayed behind to grind up the stumps and clean the area. And the price was right. I can't express how impressed I am with Jimmy Everett and his crew! Promptly came out and gave me a detailed (and very reasonable) estimate of tree removal costs (including a map showing trees to be removed), worked with my scheduling issues to get a crew out as quickly as possible, came when expected and worked quickly to remove 10 large trees, worked with neighbor (and removed a problem tree in her yard, at no extra expense!) in order to use her yard to drop our large trees, removed all debris, and the next day you can't tell they were here except for tree stump grindings and open spaces in back yard! I would definitely recommend using Everett Tree Service. Their prices were very reasonable compared to other companies that I requested quotes from, and they were extremely responsive through the scheduling (and rescheduling because of bad weather) process. I had to have several trees taken out this year, and they did a fabulous job both with the removal and the clean-up after. Their employees are not only great at what they do, but very professional. It was wet out and they had to drive across my yard, but stayed late and raked the yard, removed all the debris and repaired the few ruts that were left. I have used Everett Tree Service on at least three occasions. The most recent was to remove a very large, ailing oak tree that threatened my house. Alex provided a fair estimate and Jimmy and his crew were there within a week to complete the job. It was a big job requiring a crane on a windy day, but his crew safely took down the problem tree and ground down the stump. I was also pleased they were able to take with them a few large limbs from the back yard that had fallen in previous storms from other trees. They treated my property as if it were their own. Fantastic service, from the initial estimate through work itself, which was careful, efficient, and fully professional. They removed 2 large oaks and a huge pine, along with some smaller stuff from our yard. I can't say enough about the care Jim and the crew took with our property.
