Mike no longer comes out with the crew, so they cut down the wrong tree the last time they came. They cut down a very large, healthy tree. They tried to convince me the tree was diseased, but when Mike walked the yard to determine the work that needed to be done, he didn't identify it as diseased. Then, they tried to convince me I was mistaken about which tree needed to be removed. I don't know much about trees, but I know the difference in my front yard and my back yard. The tree they took down was in my front yard. The dead tree was in my back yard. I recently tried to get them back out to take down the dead tree. After coming home from work to meet them twice, they cancelled on me at the last minute both times. I hope they can do a better job of managing appointments and communicating amongst themselves in the future.

I so appreciate that after dealing with many contractors that don't show, or take weeks to send estimates, etc. Our whole family loves to watch the crew work...it's amazing how synchronized the team is during the removal and clean up. They asked my neighbor exactly what she wanted done with the tree. I also mentioned to them about another tree that was leaning over the sidewalk, and they took that tree down too! Later on, I noticed that by mistake they took an orange cone that I keep in my parking spot so that my car doesn't hit the sewer grating. Requested estimates on Yelp and received 5 with Green Leaves being the lowest. With no reviews on Yelp at the time, it was a little concerning but after communicating with Tommy, he eased those concerns. It turns out, Tommy and his crew do great work! The tree had a natural split near the bottom which was rotting so decided to have it completely removed. He arrived around 3pm and completed the work about 5 hours later. The work area was cleared of all debris and the stump ground and leveled out. His payment options include cash or credit card and once you are in agreement with the job and cost, he sends a contract for you to sign. In this case, he was actually able to start the works the next day even though the contract wasn't signed until late the previous night! Tommy was very flexible and great to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend him and his crew! Find his other reviews on Google.
