This is the company to use if you need tree removal. We recently moved into a house that had been…read morevacant for a year after the elderly owner died. We have a wooded lot, and noticed that some of the trees next to the house, were leaning and hollow. Lester surveyed Monday afternoon, and scheduled removal of 11 trees (8 of which were more than 100 feet tall) for the next day. Lester was a pleasure to work with. He's very seasoned, explain the process, and provided a quote on the spot. I booked the service for the very next day. The crew of ~six arrived on time, with multiple vehicles and equipment, and the job took about 8 hours. When they left, you couldn't tell (except for the missing trees), that anything had been done. I think my yard and street were cleaner than when they arrived. When moving debris in my side yard, they also cleared trees that had previously fallen. As promised, they came back the next day and ground the stumps in my front yard. They have the expertise, the personnel and the equipment to do any job. Alan and Mike were very pleasant, answered my frequent questions, and it was a pleasure watching the process and meeting them. Their pricing was very reasonable. One last note, their office staff is incredibly kind and responsive. Gisselle even returned my call after hours. Highly recommend. Below is an example of the size of trees they removed. There were at least 5 similar truckloads removed.

Watching them remove trees was like looking at Swiss watch, every move planned and precisely executed. The crane operator worked with such precision that about half the development came out to watch. They were so impressed with the team's performance that 3 of them had trees removed before the crew left the area and several others got estimates for future tree work. They are professional and the pricing was very fair, all work was completed and the cleanup was outstanding. If you need tree work give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

When I saw the Everett workers outside, I asked them if they could trim the tree. I'm not sure if the tree was on their list or not, but they gladly obliged. They asked my neighbor exactly what she wanted done with the tree. I also mentioned to them about another tree that was leaning over the sidewalk, and they took that tree down too! Later on, I noticed that by mistake they took an orange cone that I keep in my parking spot so that my car doesn't hit the sewer grating. I called the company, and they brought it back the same evening! That's good service.

I had Everett Tree Service come out to my home last year for an estimate on removing a large tree…read morefrom my property. The man was friendly but attempted to convince me to cut down 3 additional trees that were not even on my property. When I said, "that's not my property", he replied, "Well I'm sure your neighbor wouldn't mind if you cut them down." Seriously? A different gentleman from Everett came out several weeks ago for a quote on tree trimming and also tried to convince me to just cut the whole tree down. He was a nice guy, but the unnecessary up-selling is annoying and unprofessional. Oh, and he gave me a verbal quote and then sent me an official quote via email less than 5 minutes later (still sitting in my driveway) that was 10% higher than the quote he had *just* given me. So strange. By the way, the quote in both cases was right around 40% higher than the company I ended up using for my tree cutting and trimming needs. Moral of the story: shop around for quotes from multiple companies and you will likely find that Everett is by far the highest.

Giant dead oak tree right on our property line, threatening to uproot and crash into our neighbors'…read moreyard any day now. We got two quotes. Tree removal, especially with a tree of this size, is not cheap; but CTLS gave a competitive estimate (quoted immediately via ipad, and emailed to us on the spot), and exhibited more confidence than others we spoke with. And this is not the type of project where you hire someone who seems intimidated! Since we were going to have a whole crew out for the job, we decided to have a few smaller trees, contributing too much shade to our vegetable garden, removed as well; the additional pricing for this work seemed very fair. The project took two days. In the first day, a team of 7 removed the tree top, took down the remainder of the trunk, and cut it into logs. The second day, they ground the stumps and hauled off the larger pieces of wood. They even hauled off an old brush pile of ours, gratis! The whole crew was very polite and efficient. And they tried to pay attention to detail: for example, laying plywood over the lawn before driving the crane down; and shoveling tracked mud off the street in front of our house. Picking up & bagging trash from lunch, and clearing out twigs galore of tree debris. The only thing that could have been improved upon... refilling divots created by the back-and-forth of the trucks. It tore up our gravel drive, and property down the side of our house, which--given all the rain lately-- has now turned into a sloshy mess. One of our drainage hoses also got crushed under a wheel. Raking the gravel on the drive back into place may have helped prevent the growing mud pit. At the time of our quote, they also mentioned bringing dirt in to fill in any holes created; but they didn't end up doing so. Very minor complaints, though, about a job well done.

Daniel was even rude to me when I asked him to come back out and finish the job. He even told me to hire a landscaper for what he previously agreed to do! STAY AWAY!
