Don't hire this dishonest person. He will raise your budget significantly in mid of the work claiming that he "did extra detailed and time consuming works". I paid 70% more than initially agreed labor fees on my remodeling job. Second, unless you are on site to monitor him, he will cut a lot of working hours that you are paying for his other jobs. This guy stretched my project of initially agreed one and half months project to total 4 months, claiming he "spent a lot of time on details". Third, he will use materials you paid to his other work. As most customers don't have the knowledge of the time needed to accomplish certain tasks, you need to pay attention to find contractors who are holding work ethics and standards.
