Two or so years later, the toilet has been maintenance-free thus far. The second time was more recent and a much bigger job. This time they expanded the backyard for me. They excavated dirt, poured concrete and built a block wall. I was impressed by the results. My yard is now much more spacious and they were able to do the work based on my vision of what I wanted. The price was slightly higher than other competitors, but the quality was really. In my opinion, it was definitely worth the price. I did not regret going with this company. Jimmy, the owner, was friendly and honest about the job and paid attention to details. He added an extra drain and adapted well to unexpected issues that arose (i.e. weather, damaged concrete under the old wall, hidden roots and sprinklers). It's my fault for being trusting and not inspecting but I never thought I would get tricked. He installed a brand new tub but it was broken and he just plastered and covered it with plaster the tub was scratched and cracked. The tile was also cracked. He didn't install my closets doors right either. It hasn't been 2 years and the tile flooring he laid is coming undone. The glass door he installed is coming undone too. He never finish certain details like the floor . Water leaks out of my shower. They painted the walls and got paint all over the closet carpet. He installed a vanity and cut horribly. Worst of all when he did demo, he cut some pipes to my AC and didn't fix them, when I had a new AC system installed they found the leak where he cut the pipe. I have documented prof. From AC company. One…read moreexample: When switching knobs and hinges, this contractor put 9 keyed locks inside my home, with 9 different keys. I was shocked! He said, no problem, I will change them. Then he replaced them with blank pulls, with no locking ability. Such poor planning and decision making. Imagine using the restroom, and having no way to lock someone out for privacy. Or originally, needing a key to enter the restroom? He said, no problem, I will change them, again! After being behind schedule, he said it was my fault. Concerns: language/understanding quality/finishing touches basic understanding/clarification of topics rude/mean/threatening late to arrive/early to leave Still not finished, and I had to tell them, you are not allowed back in my home. This is only one example, but there were several. This will go further than a review, as a complaint will be filed. Update: after my review was posted, he quickly threatened me by text! I just can't believe this business. Another reviewer contacted me and stated that Remmi threatened her as well, and had also been unprofessional. He threatened to call my employer and tell them on me. What? He stated he would tell them I was drunk all the time. (I painted the outside of my own home, in 90-95 degree temps, on the roof of a 2-story home, at the same time they painted in air conditioning). I could only imagine Isidro, calling my bosses, stating that an employee had been drunk at home, while painting his home, replacing toilets, and working with his father, preparing to sell the home? This company was good in the beginning. We were actually impressed with how many people worked on…read moreour yard. Then this happened: cracks started forming on the concrete, found shoe prints on the borders and unstamped borders. My husband and found it weeks after letting the concrete cured. We called as soon as we discovered the problem. Chris denied that it was caused by them. To make the long story short, we have been trying to connect with them for 6 months and nothing is being done. Both Jason and Chris have no respect of our time. They would set up an appointment to come and fix the issue but never show up. There would also be a time that they would cancel the day of. We are beyond frustrated at this point. When cashing the check, they were quick and very friendly. As soon as an issue comes up, it will take them almost a year to resolve the problem. I had to call the contractor's licensing board to complain about the company and found out several issues and discrepancies. This company is notorious of letting others operate using their license. My husband and I were patient enough to give them time to fix their mistakes but both had gone too far and really pushed our buttons. This company does not deserve a single star. They are very unprofessional and only will come through for you during collecting the payment. I am a very reasonable person but when situations like these happen, I have to put my foot down and make sure I am treated how cunsumers supposed to be treated.
