The office building is huge with lots of open space and lots of floor space and very attractive. They have a popcorn machine and always offer popcorn. There's a drive up window that they use to poke your finger to get a blood sample and tell you your INR and give any instruction needed for how much Wafarin to take. They also take care of any prescribing and refills of his warfarin. My husband was in Home Health care for a while and the nurse checked his INR and called the HEART clinic for instructions. They are also really understanding and patient with us paying our fees. I only gave the company three stars because of their price's. In my opinion, their fees are way too high. I know they have expenses, but they might be able to charge less if they spent less. Who knows how much they pay for that big office. They don't need that huge place. We haven't been there a huge amount of times but we've never seen another client in there but us. Our insurance doesn't pay for all the fees. we have a co pay. We found out it is actually cheaper for us to buy Eliquis from a Canadian pharmacy than to keep getting the INR checked. Anyway. I am absolutely happy with the quality of care we have gotten from everyone at the HEART clinic. I give them top marks, 5 stars for that. I also give them 5 stars and many thanks for how patient and understand they are when it comes to paying the bill. I've had no pressure from them and they even let me pay as little as $10. I just think they could cut their fees by cutting some of their expense and the 3 stars is because their fee's drag the rating down.
