It is totally unprofessional and bizarre. I doubt the docs even know how their patients are being treated. They also use "hippa" to not talk to you and do not even know how HIPPA works. They refuse to relay info to the doc which is allowed under HIPPA. They cancel an appointment the day of and say they will call to reschedule but do not and when we call they are beyond rude again. I am a 24 hr a day caregiver to the patient who had 2 surgeries by Dr Osborn. The manager claims he had surgery at UCSF and yelled "I KNOW THIS CASE VERY WELL!!!" and obviously she does not as he had his surgery at Mercy Medical. I can't believe people are able to keep a job being this abusive and scary. I do not even feel safe going there with these types of out of control staff there. I am looking to find a different orthopedic surgeon. I really truly do NOT FEEL SAFE going there with this type of aggressive and out of control staff. I hope the doctors are told what is happening.

A friend recommended Dr. Schwartz and I made the appointment. After about a month later, the doctor performed a reverse shoulder replacement (arthroplasty). When I woke after the surgery "that" pain was gone. Days later "that" pain was gone. Here 3 weeks later I'm in physical therapy and on no pain meds. My knee feels great and is more stable than I can ever recall. Great result! His front office staff, however, was at times difficult, at times was short and somewhat rude. Also, because he is in demand, getting a surgery scheduled in a timely manner is almost impossible. I had to wait two and a half months for my first surgery and two months for my second. Bottom-line, if you can put up with his front desk he'll do a great job for you.

Jenna in the office is so unhelpful to patients that we had to call back and ask to speak to the office manager, Stephanie. She was worse! She said they have no doctor who sees fractures in the office only on Mondays and Wednesday's. He is on call but unavailable. They are anticipating being "inundated with traumas over the summer and won't be able handle it." Not too busy now, just expect to be and don't even refer to patients as people. There you have it. GO ELSEWHERE! Also the MD referral line has the complaint about them to save others from them.

Said he was going to refer me to a rheumatologist in Chico and for my doctor to do a inflammatory arthritis screen. None of it ever happened .... Office secretaries have no record of Dr's visit or what he said. Also said they would have Miles assistant call me.....Again never happened. Totally blew me off. I have been told by other medical professionals he wont take advanced cases because he wants a good track record with minimal failures
