It's got a thick but soft texture, it's a little bit sweet & a little bit savory, & it's topped with sesame seeds. My mouth is watering just writing about it. I never knew they paired so well together. I also really appreciated the flakey salt added. I also had The Goat with turkey bacon added. That was also so good. I love goat cheese and I love avocado toast so it was a great pairing. I snuck a bite of my son's banana bread muffin and that was also so good, I really liked how there was a good amount of chocolate in the muffin. The Banana Bread latte is a seasonal special apparently. I think that is a HUGE mistake. It should be a year round drink. Superb. No notes. I NEVER finish my coffee. I drank every single last sip. Easily in my top five favorite coffees. I truly hope this makes its way onto the menu. I will absolutely be back!

She was so nice, and she definitely steered me in the right direction! The latte was absolutely delicious. Casa Dulce gets a 10/10 on my Coffee Passport rankings! Brewology is still my all-time favorite coffee shop, but Casa Dulce is definitely one I'll be coming back to. They had a lot of good premade options, but they also allow you to make your own flavors, which is cool. It's cute and cozy and really easy to get to.

The service is more than you would expect from a coffee shop. The space at first seems small, until you realize there's a whole extra room of seating in the back. The counter display is clean, neat, and full of gorgeous pastries. I foolishly got almost no pictures, I was truly living in the moment. They are known for a few things, Yemeni coffee, beautiful filled croissants and the fruit shaped entremets you've probably seen in your feed online. As far as I know, they are the only place in Rhode Island that serves these. While you can look at the case, they also have a catalog at the register to help with ordering. Brilliant. I got the Maleki coffee, the raspberry cheesecake croissant and the strawberry delight. The croissant has great flavor. The cheesecake was less sweet and more tangy, balancing the raspberry jam center. My only criticism, because this is held under refrigeration, the texture of the croissant suffers slightly. But overall I enjoyed it. The strawberry delight was exactly that. A delight. The shell was crisp, perfectly tempered. While simple, the filling was very strawberry in a natural but not overpowering way. Balance again comes to mind. Finally, my coffee. A spiced wonder. We came here after dinner and it was perfect to aid in digestion. I chose it specifically for that, because there are descriptions of the different Yemeni coffees and the part they play in their coffee culture. I loved reading and absorbing the wisdom. And in following the wisdom, I was rewarded. I will recommend this place to others to experience all Moka & Co has to offer. And I'll be back myself next time I'm in the area.
