As a person who worked many years in retail customer service, this is what drives some people to not make a sale (especially knowing things are commission based). After I browsed the medium sized sneaker section, I made my way over to the clubs. As there were no other customers in the store no employee even looked my way. As three were in the front and one was at the back counter on his phone I continued to look around all the way up to picking up multiple clubs and feeling them out. As I then walked to the front only to see those clubs were jr and women's I then made my way back to the rear club area. As other customers walked in they were greeted up to the point I observed an employee ask one if they needed help as the male was looking in the accessory area. After seeing this, I took photos of what I would have potentially purchased and made my way to the exit. At that point one of the employees at the front stated "have a nice day". Overall I'm not returning here probably ever unless it's a dire need. I did go to Dicks sports prior but they didn't have anyone working in their golf area at the moment. Price wise things are decent. I'll attach one photo below for reference. I went on a Wednesday around 5pm.

I'm pleased to report that my recent visits have been a much better experience. The sales staff was attentive, and the club fitting with Anthony was top-notch. I'm glad to be able to return there as it's the closest and most comprehensive golf equipment shop in the area.

From my initial conversation with owner John Ioris, I was immediately impressed right from the getgo that he in fact eschewed wanting to be associated with the so called "GD top golf fitters list".... After I scheduled my appt, my session with John was performed with the same level of precision of a top NYC hospital for spinal surgery. Everything was analyzed, as mentioned in the articles, measurements taken with ultra-high-speed digital cameras show ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, total distance, and directional deviation. Furthermore, John having mastered his trade, knew what to recommend for my game, obviously after seeing thousands of swings, this comes naturally but in no way was he condescending or a "know it all".. On the contrary, he was just humble in his opinion which was refreshing... Oh, and not only that, i was also treated to a free video assessment from the local pro who shares the office which i signed up with recently and am very happy with. As Malcolm Gladwell states in Outliers, a person reaches mastery of their craft usually after 10,000 hours of practice. Now that statement and view has come under some controversy because in order to achieve that level of mastery, there must be in that practice, passion, drive, enthusiasm, commitment to improve and a devout love for the sport, music, fame, whatever endeavour. Well, John Ioris is a master of his craft and after 28 years of dedication and countless swings he doesn't need to prove it.. I will write back at the end of this season with what improvements I have made provided i have even one/hundreth the commitment to improving my game as he has to his trade.

I originally was…read morereferred into Cote's for a club fitting and as an amateur I was quite nervous.The staff at Cote's made me feel so comfortable and helped me truly feel what clubs were best for me. It took several fitting sessions to find the best clubs and I finally feel confident in my swing! A few weeks after ordering my new set, my two year old driver broke (keep in mind I didn't purchase it through them). They went above in beyond to work with Taylormade to try and get it covered under warranty, but when Taylormade refused to cover it, Cote's decided to cover it.
