Just got fitted for my first custom driver last week and could not be more pleased with the fitting process and end result. My club fitter Frank was great from start to finish educating me along the way and his attention to detail. We went through countless different options until he found the best match for my swing. No doubts having hit the range twice since picking up my new M4 I had the best fitting possible and will definitely be back for another fitting upgrading the rest of my bag with Frank. Was up there today to see Frank to get fitted for a new set of irons. As he fitted me last year for a new set of woods I was extremely pleased and satisfied going in knowing I would be looked after pretty well. I wasn't disappointed. Fitting started at 9am and by 10:45 I had my new irons. I love there attention to detail. I left and came back 2 hours later and my new irons were ready for me which I was allowed test. I've spent 20 years playing at a fairly competitive level, peaking at a 0 handicap and now falling at a 2. I'm a big powerful guy and have always struggled controlling the ball off the tee. Over the years, I've done my own research and tried to find the club and shaft that best "fit me" and my swing. Having spent an hour with Frank Abatino, I've simply been wasting my time. Once I was on the trackman and I could see my numbers, I knew no matter how much I tried to get a "low spin, low launch" club, I wouldn't be able to without a proper fitting. I've been plying the Matrix Black Tie X Stiff driver shaft for years, and once on the monitor I realized my spin was over 4000 and launch in the 14-16 area. After playing with some setups, Frank made me a couple shafts and we fine tuned my driver right where he thought I would need to be. The result? 5 mph gained in club head speed, getting it between 115-120, a launch between 12-14 and *get this* a spin rate between 1800-2400. It's an absolute game changer for me and now that I've played a couple rounds, I can't say enough about having done this. I can only ask, why did it take me so long?! If you're serious about your game, no matter your handicap, you need to get professionally fit and I recommend Frank! It's a golf performance center not a 10$ a bucket range. If you are serious about improving your game and physique this is the place for you. The other ratings are bs based on reviewing the facilities for their intent: this is one of the premiere golf schools I new England as evidenced by their students accomplishment . read more

Joke of a business from top to bottom. I dropped off my driver with Nick to get a new shaft on a Saturday, he said he would have a replacement shaft on before the end of the week. On wednesday of that week Jennifer from GPC called me asking for my card information for the club I picked up, which I had never picked up nor received any update from them. She then told me one of the fitters Gabe or Nick would call me to let me know status and I would receive an email. I received neither. A week later that next saturday i went in because i assumed the club would be ready, hard to imagine a professional club fitter taking more than 20-30 min to replace a shaft. I showed up Gabe was hitting balls out of the bay i introduced myself and said im here to pickup the club i left with nick. Gabe said he had no idea who i was and the club was not ready, i then told him at this point i would like to take the club back. I asked him there is no way to get this done now he said he was busy backed up with 15 orders, mind you he was doing nothing when i had arrived. Little did they know I was also in the market for a new putter but after the poor service I decided to take my money elsewhere. Tough $700+ at least swing because fitters decided to hit balls and not take 20-30 min to replace ONE CLUB. Poor communication from top to bottom along the entire process. And as I had left the facility I had told other employees what had happened they told me the previous fitters were way better and i should go see them at a different company. Goes to show how they think of their own company. Save your time, energy, and money and bring all your golf needs elsewhere. read more

The new pricing structure of $30 for unlimited balls and unlimited time versus the old structure of hitting buckets of balls will be the end of this beautiful golf center. It totally eliminates the golfers looking to practice before playing around of golf or others just looking to hit some balls versus spending all day at the range. I mean really - who is going to do that? Very disappointing - will not return until they revert back to old pricing structure or new owners take over - whichever comes first. read more

I just got fitted for a new set of irons. Frank was great. Very patient, helpful. I thought I knew what I wanted but after working with Frank I came away with a different and better set than I originally thought was right for me. Check them out. Its a remarkable change from the old structure. There's plenty of room and they added quite a bit to the setup.

Just stopped by the golf performance center after they've been closed for a renovation for a few weeks. My husband and I were looking forward to hitting a few balls casually for an hour or so, as we typically do once or twice per week. When we walked in, we were greeted by their "new structure" where you can no longer buy small/med/large buckets of balls. Now they're charging $30 per person for unlimited balls and unlimited time. This is great if you're planning to stand there all day, but the reality is we would never hit enough balls to make up for this huge increase in price. As members of the public course in town, we could play 18 holes for $25 each so why would we ever pay more to stand in the bays? This is so disappointing as we'll probably never go back on a nice summer night after work or any day for that matter. Very bummed... read more

I give the GPC one star because they don't serve the community it only for the elite. You have to pay $30 to use the driving range. You are not allowed to just buy a bucket. They have a private club, not sure they realize that they are only a golf range and not an actual course. Go up to the Ridgefield golf course where you get buckets for $5 and they have an actual course read more

Overall experience was extremely poor. Service was rude, the establishment was under construction, and it was a no frills mini golf experience, just turf and holes, no 'fun'. We were actually told next time to 'bring cash' and then hurried along without so much as a warm greeting or thanks for coming. I would not recommend this place at all. I'd rather go to Golf Quest, BBQ or another course on Route 7. At least they treat their customers nicely and are 15 minutes closer to home. read more

I went to use the driving range this morning and was told that the range was only open to the public between 1 and 4. When I went back, I was told that the range is only open if you take a lesson for $30. It seems to me that they young man I spoke to in the morning could have mentioned that this morning. read more

In addition to constructing the ugliest building on route 7, the new owners have also taken to routinely turning away once loyal customers of the paying public. That was truly stunning. Too bad, I really liked that place when it was Belmont's. Miss you guys, cheap old balls and all. read more

I cannot stress enough how poor my experience was. Not a single station suited to left-handed golfers. Staff was on top of the patrons the whole time, hurrying them along. It became very clear that they were concerned about the quantity of customers rather than the quality. I sought the opinions of others, to see if my experience was an outlier, but they all told of experiences similar to my own. Will not go back. read more
