Let me tell you -- this was the best damn food I've had in Westport. It was kid food. Burgers, fries and the best darn chicken tenders I've ever tasted in my life. The burger had that perfect charbroiled flavor and quality meat - not like I've been served in restaurants. I guess these country club ppl demand good food. And well, they sure get it. Great pool with very attentive guards. Wish I could go back just to eat there-- have to inquire if that is actually allowed for non-members. I hope so. Because I have tried just about every place in Westport, and this was the only place I really want to return to!

But, I was here for the food--I ordered a pork belly appetizer, a steak, and a chocolate lava cake. The steak and dessert weren't so exceptional that I would discuss them, and that's why this isn't five stars. The pork belly appetizer was exceptional. It melted in my mouth better than any piece of bacon I have recently enjoyed. It sat on a bed of greens, with a sauce that matched it well. This is why I would come back if they would let me in the door. Keep in mind the place was huge and really nice, probably a great place to get married!

While there may be more formal venues the setting was beautiful and the staff and food was exquisite. Hilary, the coordinator did everything to perfection and there was not one area of the wedding that wasn't exactly how we'd hoped.
