Let me tell you -- this was the best damn food I've had in Westport. It was kid food. Burgers, fries and the best darn chicken tenders I've ever tasted in my life. The burger had that perfect charbroiled flavor and quality meat - not like I've been served in restaurants. I guess these country club ppl demand good food. And well, they sure get it. It melted in my mouth better than any piece of bacon I have recently enjoyed. It sat on a bed of greens, with a sauce that matched it well. The Inn is located behind the beautiful Longshore Golf course. The outside looks like a quaint New England Inn and boasts spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. The view from inside the large reception/ dining area with its floor to ceiling windows is wonderful, ideal for watching a sunrise or sunset anytime of year. Or full moon! The space fit many tables and also left a spot for dancing. The tables were tastefully decorated. The ou'dourves were fresh, unique, and delicious and the staff were professional and courteous.
