The menu is widely varied, there's something for everyone at this kid friendly family restaurant and everything I've tried has been high quality, prepared and presented well....and I've only ever seen ONE PERSON complain about "portions that are too large". Also, don't let an extensive menu scare you, all of the offerings are an artists blend of the same palette mixed in a myriad of ways. Almost all of the food is fresh, unfrozen, and prepared on house, with the rare exception of some things that would be foolish to make in house i.e. onion rings, etc. This place has evolved dramatically in the last 20 years due to menu updates and remodels of the entire restaurant. It also appears to be a singles dating / meeting place for all age groups after 6 pm. The menu has about four seasonal variations, and they have a Happy Hour where drinks are $1 to $3 off, and a "Bar Bites" menu if you're seated at the bar, where I had the "Street Corn Egg Rolls", rolled and stuffed in house with an original mix of sweet corn , tajin lime aioli, cojita, & cilantro and includes a choice of dips if you ask nicely..
