And after just one visit here I'm upset I never tried this sooner. The staff here is really friendly and helpful and will be glad to answer any questions. I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back. I was here with my 7 year old and we both had a great time. Great for families as well. Great vibe here. Highly recommended. Price is good as well.

Great public course with reasonable cart and greens fees. Course is well groomed and greens are in…read moregreat shape for the number of rounds played on this course. Nicely laid out with some very challenging holes. During summer months one needs to secure tee times well in advance as all tee times are taken. The course also has a driving range. Range balls are also fairly priced at $8.00 for a small (50) balls and $16.00 for a large (100) balls. The driving range matts are quite warm but pro shop where balls are sold told me they were being replaced in the 2024 season. Brand new golf carts have replaced the old ones only negative is these carts are gas powered which can result in jerky stops and starts. But this facility does not have a cart barn which prevents electrical access. Hopefully in the future the town of Greenwich will erect a cart barn with electrical chargers for electric carts. Pro shop carries the popular brands of shirts, golfing apparel and shoes. The personnel in the shop are knowledgeable and very helpful. The manager, Ashley, has great personality and is a pleasure to deal. Everyone in the shop is friendly and courteous to all patrons. Lessons are available from PGA professionals. For a public course I highly recommend the "Griff"

Great course! One of the more challenging ones the area with elevation, difficult greens and…read morehazards that play to tee box. Fairly long at /almost 6500yrds. Fairways were nice and well kept. Trees are medium to large and do come into play. The elevation can throw off distances, so when playing a higher elevation green, club up for sure. Rough is ok unless to go for it in which case you run the chance of get ur clubhead snagged. Greens are tough...Seems the groundskeeper was having a bad morning but everything was on a slope it seemed. Still did better than the two regulars who were paired up with me. One thing that did get me was how humid it was...It wrecked havoc on my grip and I had to be conscious of it. Pro-shop like all the courses I have been to in NJ and border NY have no ball markers for sale. However, the gent at the shop gave a sample one since he heard I was visiting from CA. That was class of him for sure. Love the course and layout. I played Pines and Lake side which confused my golf app but 85 everywhere is 85. Highly recommend...Not sure why a lot of golfers in the area grade so harshly on their courses...As I have mentioned to others I have golfed with in the area. Your municipal courses are like amour high end courses from a groundskeeping standpoint. Plus most of the people I have played so far in the Northern NJ border NY we're ok at best 20-30+ hdcpers and are the last people who should review any course. Now if you are mid to single digit handicapper this is a must golf if you are in the area and highly recommended if you are looking for a challenging course.
