This could be the worst Miniature Golf course I have ever played on in my life. This course is so poorly maintained it is an absolute joke. It is evident that owners/managers couldn't care less about the quality and appearance of their course. While I understand it's February and some mini golf places may have flooding issues, this place should not have even been open yesterday. $27 for 3 to play mini golf, 3 holes were completely flooded and not playable and many other holes had water so we wouldn't even putt into the hole. Lastly with all of that said the course is in in bad shape as well. We were going to hit golf balls after mini golf and decided not to let this place have any more of our money. read more

Been coming here since high school, a total of three times. I don't golf period so me going three times in my lifetime is actually pretty impressive. Having been stuck in Rockland in high school, this was a nice activity to do when bored. Bring some friends and your dad's clubs to shoot some rounds. Prices are very reasonable for a round of balls (especially now knowing what nyc charges). Easy, no-hassle. Highly recommended if you're looking for a golfing range. read more

This was our first time here. Took the kids to play mini golf so we could get out for some fresh air during the Covid. It was $8 per person which was reasonable. The mini golf is definitely dated and needs an upkeep or renovation. Pretty boring and simple golf course and very dirty. Their were water bottles and masks throughout the course. I know it's from customers but , somebody should really clean up. We were the only ones there and it was quiet So it wasn't because they were overly busy. The rest of the place looked fairly nice. They also have go carts , golf range, and even a bar/restaurant. Overall I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars but they really should consider cleaning up the miniature golf area read more

I think I may have hit my last golf ball at TGC. They had the best "cost per ball" rates of any of the driving ranges I've ever been. For example, the "Giant" rate was 300 balls for $20 after 12 noon. That works out to 6.7 cents per ball. Recently, they've made some changes to the range adding electronic devices capable of many functions such as launch monitor, closest to the pin, etc. I was anticipating a price increase because the added features at the range must have been very costly. But the new best evening offering after 6 pm turned out to be 120 balls for $17 which results in a 14.2 cents per ball rate. That's an increase of 2.2 times, more than twice the money for the same amount of balls. The other increases for fewer balls are comparable if not worse. Of course, earlier in the day gets you a slightly better rate but those of us who work during the day can't get there for that. I don't think (for me) the added features at TGC are worth the money. read more

We had an excellent time at the Golf Center. I was looking into some local Mini Golf and Batting Cage centers and saw one in New City. I stumbled upon this one and saw that they offered mini golf, batting cages and go kart racing. We decided to take a drive up there (about 35 minute away) on a Saturday early afternoon. I was worried that it would be crowded, but it was not at all. We literally had the go kart racing track to ourselves. The worker there was super nice. The go kart racing prices were $8 for single karts and $13 for double karts. The prices cover 4 laps, but we were allowed a few extra laps, likely because it was empty there. The karts run fine, older, but fine. I liked the older karts, just brake and accelerate. The only bad thing it eh steering wheels can be rough if hitting a turn too fast...my wrists are still killing me the day after. After go karts, we went into the main center. There were tons of people in the driving range, but still a decent amount of extra stalls available. We did mini golf which was $7 for adults and $6 for children for 18 holes. Each player was given a club and a ball and score card. The mini golf was good, nothing fancy or spectacular but very clean and well kept. Our last stop was at the batting cages. The batting cages are $3 per batting token, which is for 15 pitches. There are 5-6 batting cage stalls. There are helmets and aluminum bats there as well. Once you enter a stall you put a token in the machine and you can chose a few different options; baseball, or softball and then you can choose from 4 different speeds (from 40 mph all the way up to 80 mph). Overall we had a great time at the center. I would definitely love to return with more people next time. read more

Took my kids for mini golf. It cost $40 for a family of 4. Can't believe they charge for a 2 year old. For the price they charge they need to do some maintenance. The greens are moldy and have mildew. The fences have holes in them allowing the balls to fall into what once was a water feature. Lucky for us there was no water and we could retrieve our ball. The places that did have water are just breeding grounds for mosquitoes. What's disturbing is that people reviewed this place in 2012 and had the same experience! Time to put the all that money you charge towards cleaning and fixing up your mini golf. read more

Bit of a drive for me from where I live, but this place is awesome! Went for the go-karting first and then headed over to do mini golf. Bought a 10 pack of passes for the go-karts, didn't use them all up and the lady at the counter said we could come back anytime because they never expire. Woohoo! read more

I want to start out by saying that I am commenting solely on the batting cages and nothing else. This is usually the only reason I visit there anyways. I sometimes go to hit golf balls there but how bad could you be when all you have to do is just give the people golf balls. The batting cages became awful. When they first built the place, the batting cages pretty much worked seamlessly. But now I can't believe I've made trips back there. First off, the prices are astronomical. A set of 20 tokens used to cost around $37 if my memory serves me right, now it's $45. That's a full tank of gas for my car which I can't even reasonably justify anymore. Second, the machines are extremely inconsistent. Once you go through like 2 tokens, the machines stop loading balls. I had to wait around 10 minutes for the machine to throw me a single ball. If I wanted to wait this long I would bring a single ball to the baseball field. This is my last straw with this place, I'm probably am never going to go back there unless I desperately need to. read more

This review is only for the mini-golf... DH and I played a round and it was pretty empty but it was also at 10pm on a Saturday night towards the end of Summer. It only costs $6 but the course totally needs a facelift. The green was super moldy, the water murky, and needs some better lightening. as a sidenote the driving range is always PACKED to the max so it must be good. read more

I use the driving range here, so can't comment on other services. It's good, with wide golf bays and fairly reasonable prices. Only issue is that after 4pm (in summer) the sun sets in the west - and directly into your eyes if you are using the driving range. It makes it very difficult to track your shots. read more

I went here for mini golf in the morning and it was fun but the customer service needs improvement! Later in the day day, checking my bank balance online, I saw that the merchant charged me twice. I called to complain but the person I spoke to was the afternoon cashier and he made no attempt to help me and told me to call back in the morning to speak to the cashier I worked with. Fortunately, after looking at my statement more closely, it appears that they realized their mistake on their own and reversed the transaction but what a pain! One of the other earlier reviews mentioned that this also happened to them so it seems to be a pattern. If you go, pay in cash! read more

Worst experience! The place overall is somber and empty on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of summer, and after dealing with the staff we realized why. Upon purchasing mini golf for 8 people, we were asked for a receipt (which we did not get) by a kid who was distributing golf balls and was very adamant that we needed the receipt to enter. After 5 minutes he realized that we have golf clubs and let us in, but was very nasty and was more conscious of his cell phone. Mini golf area was unkept and filthy. When we get to the go carts, the guy was rushing us when we were trying to decide how many carts we needed, but we were the only ones there! The karts are old and the guy could not wait for us to get out of there. He too was more conscious of his cell phone. Overall this was a waste of money and customer service was terrible! read more

For about the past year the facility has shot tracer which is cool but I've noticed that it isn't working in more and more of the bays so you need to check beforehand. Today I found a working unit on the 3rd bay I tried. They also recently upgraded their balls from old worn out rocks to new shiny rocks. The balls just don't travel so don't beat yourself up when the shot tracer has you 10-20 yards shorter for each club than what you normally hit a new name brand ball. It is a driving range and the balls have to last so I get it. During the winter they enclose the bays and have heaters and there are fans during the warmer days. As posted, in the late afternoon the setting sun is directly in your eyes. There is a sand trap at one end of the range to practice shots but it is in disrepair and is basically unusable. It has become much more expensive this year and the before noon, 2 buckets for the price of 1 deal is gone. A small Bucket is $9 and you get 54 balls, which is expensive if you want to get in some practice. There are other places around that are cheaper so I don't go to Tappan golf all that much anymore. Nothing wrong with them making money but to me they seem to be pushing the limit of what most people can afford on a regular basis. read more

When I showed him the error on my phone he became loud and made a huge scene. It is amazing that for $44 a place of business would treat customers so poorly. The best driving range around. Plenty of space and it's seldom completely packed. For a while they had a Trackman setup which was great. Apparently they are phasing that out and replacing it with another system. I've taken some lessons here before. Definitely a good option as well. The pro shop is pretty complete and fairly priced. Kind of shocked that this place is hidden away in here, but I had the absolute best food at the Hudson 303. Pulled pork sandwich was incredible. The sampler appetizer was great. And tons of beer on tap. Even if you arent there to golf, this place is worth a drop in for the food. read more

This place is a joke, don't waste your time here.played mini golf and one of the clubs bent on the 1st shot (legitimately a normal shot) upon returning club the attendant threatened to call the police on me if I didn't pay a $10 fee, he claimed "that never happened." Tappan Golf offer plenty of golf driving booths with new mats and heaters. The mats have been replaced and the range balls are better quality than most places. The Hudson restaurant looks attractive but I haven't tried it. The prices are reasonable for a small, medium or large bucket of balls. Its a good place to work on your swing and concentrate on improving your drives. read more
