Great local driving range. The staff is very friendly and the price is right. There is lots of parking. They also have great teaching pros available as well.

This was our first time here. Took the kids to play mini golf so we could get out for some fresh air during the Covid. It was $8 per person which was reasonable. The mini golf is definitely dated and needs an upkeep or renovation. Pretty boring and simple golf course and very dirty. Their were water bottles and masks throughout the course. I know it's from customers but , somebody should really clean up. We were the only ones there and it was quiet So it wasn't because they were overly busy. The rest of the place looked fairly nice. They also have go carts , golf range, and even a bar/restaurant. Overall I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars but they really should consider cleaning up the miniature golf area

I'm coming here for golf practice. But you can enjoy batting practices, go cart and patting game with your kids. I just introduced my co-worker and their kids loved here.

    Go Kart Racing - $8 Single, $13 Double - 4 Laps

We had an excellent time at the Golf Center. I was looking into some local Mini Golf and Batting Cage centers and saw one in New City. I stumbled upon this one and saw that they offered mini golf, batting cages and go kart racing. We decided to take a drive up there (about 35 minute away) on a Saturday early afternoon. I was worried that it would be crowded, but it was not at all. We literally had the go kart racing track to ourselves. The worker there was super nice. The go kart racing prices were $8 for single karts and $13 for double karts. The prices cover 4 laps, but we were allowed a few extra laps, likely because it was empty there. The karts run fine, older, but fine. I liked the older karts, just brake and accelerate. The only bad thing it eh steering wheels can be rough if hitting a turn too fast...my wrists are still killing me the day after. After go karts, we went into the main center. There were tons of people in the driving range, but still a decent amount of extra stalls available. We did mini golf which was $7 for adults and $6 for children for 18 holes. Each player was given a club and a ball and score card. The mini golf was good, nothing fancy or spectacular but very clean and well kept. Our last stop was at the batting cages. The batting cages are $3 per batting token, which is for 15 pitches. There are 5-6 batting cage stalls. There are helmets and aluminum bats there as well. Once you enter a stall you put a token in the machine and you can chose a few different options; baseball, or softball and then you can choose from 4 different speeds (from 40 mph all the way up to 80 mph). Overall we had a great time at the center. I would definitely love to return with more people next time.

Took my kids for mini golf. It cost $40 for a family of 4. Can't believe they charge for a 2 year old. For the price they charge they need to do some maintenance. The greens are moldy and have mildew. The fences have holes in them allowing the balls to fall into what once was a water feature. Lucky for us there was no water and we could retrieve our ball. The places that did have water are just breeding grounds for mosquitoes. What's disturbing is that people reviewed this place in 2012 and had the same experience! Time to put the all that money you charge towards cleaning and fixing up your mini golf.

Fairways were nice and well kept. Trees are medium to large and do come into play. The elevation can throw off distances, so when playing a higher elevation green, club up for sure. Rough is ok unless to go for it in which case you run the chance of get ur clubhead snagged. Greens are tough...Seems the groundskeeper was having a bad morning but everything was on a slope it seemed. Still did better than the two regulars who were paired up with me. One thing that did get me was how humid it was...It wrecked havoc on my grip and I had to be conscious of it. Pro-shop like all the courses I have been to in NJ and border NY have no ball markers for sale. However, the gent at the shop gave a sample one since he heard I was visiting from CA. That was class of him for sure. Love the course and layout. I played Pines and Lake side which confused my golf app but 85 everywhere is 85. Highly recommend...Not sure why a lot of golfers in the area grade so harshly on their courses...As I have mentioned to others I have golfed with in the area. Your municipal courses are like amour high end courses from a groundskeeping standpoint. Plus most of the people I have played so far in the Northern NJ border NY we're ok at best 20-30+ hdcpers and are the last people who should review any course. Now if you are mid to single digit handicapper this is a must golf if you are in the area and highly recommended if you are looking for a challenging course.

So I found this indoor golf place less than a mile and a half away from my dad's place. It was nice, clean cozy and the staff friendly! I had a chance to meet the owner named Gary and he gave me the walk through. I decided to on his recommendation to play Bethpage since I am in the East Coast right! The bay is bigger than most indoor simulators which is really nice and the layout and comfort is top notch. The indoor temp was perfect as well! I played my round in less than an hour and shot a 93!!!!! I settled down toward the end but it was too late lol! 51 front and 42 back...I could have easily shot in the 80s. I almost wanted to play another round. My driver was wayyyy off today! The owner's father said it was A tough course, so I will take it! What can I say, I loved it! I can see myself coming here regularly during winter once I move back and what a convenience that it is close to home! Price is right and it was nice to see a bunch of regulars. It had a family kind of feel to it and that earns my business. So if you are 12 handicap golfer like myself (I blew it today), scratch golfer or just a hack, I urge you to take your swing down to Go Low Golf! I love finding cool places like this, that are truly gems!

I've been a weekend hacker for approximately 15 years of playing golf. My decision to start taking…read morelessons is largely due to COVID and not being able to snowboard (my main sport) for the year. I purchased a full package of lessons/fitting for a full year (25 lessons) My coach is Chris Sweet and he is an excellent coach. For the first two months, my swing was deconstructed into different parts and he does a great job of not overloading you with adjustments to make. During this time, my swing fell apart but it makes sense - especially if you understand the plateau of latent potential. From my initial swing evaluation to only 8 lessons and 10 weeks later, I've gained about 35 yards of carry distance on my 7 iron (130 yards to 165 yards) adding a nice draw into my shot shape and I haven't even gotten a club fitting yet. I think this speaks volumes about the quality of instruction I received with Chris. If you're familiar with learning something new and improving at it as quickly as possible, you'll know it takes commitment/practice on your part. They have a plethora of resources available to become a student of the game and continue learning even while you're not striking balls. Additionally, you can review past lessons and refer to them if something stops working with your swing which was critically important for me.

I paid for my classes which included being fitted for clubs yet I was never afforded the latter. I…read moresent multiple emails to arrange for the fitting and never received a response. Also the instruction I received seemed to be more confusing than helpful. Since I've completed classes there I've spent a lot of time reviewing YouTube videos and reading books and I realized my issue was my hands. If you're not holding the club correctly you will never get your form correct especially on the back swing. Once I figured this out, my swing improved dramatically. But this is something they should have been stressed at GolfTEC. I felt as though the instructor was disconnected insofar as training and was just "mailing it in." I'm not saying it was worthless because that would not be fair - there were some good pointers that I picked up there but I felt there should have been more emphasis on basic concepts that may have made a huge difference for me. Are they friendly? Absolutely. They were never rude. They were always genuinely friendly. My recommendation is read as much as you can in advance and watch as many videos as you can before you go there because I doubt if you will receive any strong technical explanation (no handouts were given at all just some scribble on a board in the room). It isn't worth it in my opinion. I honestly believe that , with a little training, I could explain more than I received: when you are not good at something and then figure things out you can readily share those pitfalls with others.
