He was very honest, accommodating and never felt like he was pushing you to buy any specific clubs or coaxing you into certain models. He isn't a car salesman and didn't act like one - his passion for the game is reflected in his work and complete focus when analyzing a player. Have recommended John to multiple friends for fittings and all had the same great experience. Won't get fitted for any other clubs going forward other than by John.

From my initial conversation with owner John Ioris, I was immediately impressed right from the getgo that he in fact eschewed wanting to be associated with the so called "GD top golf fitters list".... After I scheduled my appt, my session with John was performed with the same level of precision of a top NYC hospital for spinal surgery. Everything was analyzed, as mentioned in the articles, measurements taken with ultra-high-speed digital cameras show ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, total distance, and directional deviation. Furthermore, John having mastered his trade, knew what to recommend for my game, obviously after seeing thousands of swings, this comes naturally but in no way was he condescending or a "know it all".. On the contrary, he was just humble in his opinion which was refreshing... Oh, and not only that, i was also treated to a free video assessment from the local pro who shares the office which i signed up with recently and am very happy with. As Malcolm Gladwell states in Outliers, a person reaches mastery of their craft usually after 10,000 hours of practice. Now that statement and view has come under some controversy because in order to achieve that level of mastery, there must be in that practice, passion, drive, enthusiasm, commitment to improve and a devout love for the sport, music, fame, whatever endeavour. Well, John Ioris is a master of his craft and after 28 years of dedication and countless swings he doesn't need to prove it.. I will write back at the end of this season with what improvements I have made provided i have even one/hundreth the commitment to improving my game as he has to his trade.

Sounds like a good deal to me. We checked it out that night and I was really impressed. Golf simulators are state-of-the-art and the venue is really clean and well kept. The course is very cool visually on some holes, and 18th hole is really nice. Having said that: meh. Nothing about this course that differentiates it from numerous other courses that I've played in my life. Fairways and tees were lush but not well-cut. Like most golf courses, it's really just a function of how much you're willing to spend. The more you spend, the cooler the experience is likely to be.

Every employee there, and at their ski-oriented counterpart, Pedigree Ski (just down the block) were not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but also very welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic about the products they sell. I would recommend them to anyone- whether new to snowboarding/skiing, or a lifelong rider. They also have an impressive tent sale, but I found these great deals a week or so beforehand. I couldn't recommend them more. If you're semi-local, you can search and pay online, and then go pick your order up. Of course they offer shipping, but I thoroughly enjoyed going into both stores. They have a massive selection of gear to look through, great prices, and are a family business- for anyone who loves snow sports, it is an experience worth having. Recently came here to get two snowboards tuned and waxed. As this was my first time tuning my new…read moreboard, I opted for the UV wax. A week later when I went to pick up the boards one of them had rough edges,it felt as though it wasn't even run through the machine. Not to mention shallow scrapes that normally are filled by the wax, still were on the board. The employee there gave us the the run around of " that's just how the robot/machine does it" and when asked if there was anything they could do on the spot, he said manual going in wouldn't be as precise as the machine. So I paid for the machine which was supposed to be better than a manual tune, and it came out subpar?? But you won't even go in manually to fix and areas that are being pointed out ? I'm sorry but if I came in and paid $90 a board to get tuned, I except a level of service to be complete. Not a lousy job with excuses. After talking in circles with no resolution or reassurance from the employee we decided to leave. Moving forward I will be taking my board elsewhere. Would NOT recommend going here.
