The reviews of the Complete Golfer from the various Westchester magazines are not only spot on, I…read morecan say that with an objective unbiased experience that the folks at Complete Golfer are the epitome of what a golf fitting experience should be. From my initial conversation with owner John Ioris, I was immediately impressed right from the getgo that he in fact eschewed wanting to be associated with the so called "GD top golf fitters list".... After I scheduled my appt, my session with John was performed with the same level of precision of a top NYC hospital for spinal surgery. Everything was analyzed, as mentioned in the articles, measurements taken with ultra-high-speed digital cameras show ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, total distance, and directional deviation. Furthermore, John having mastered his trade, knew what to recommend for my game, obviously after seeing thousands of swings, this comes naturally but in no way was he condescending or a "know it all".. On the contrary, he was just humble in his opinion which was refreshing... Oh, and not only that, i was also treated to a free video assessment from the local pro who shares the office which i signed up with recently and am very happy with. As Malcolm Gladwell states in Outliers, a person reaches mastery of their craft usually after 10,000 hours of practice. Now that statement and view has come under some controversy because in order to achieve that level of mastery, there must be in that practice, passion, drive, enthusiasm, commitment to improve and a devout love for the sport, music, fame, whatever endeavour. Well, John Ioris is a master of his craft and after 28 years of dedication and countless swings he doesn't need to prove it.. I will write back at the end of this season with what improvements I have made provided i have even one/hundreth the commitment to improving my game as he has to his trade.

Had a fitting with John for a set of irons. Had no clue what I was looking for and after a detailed…read moreanalysis and hundreds of swings, John recommended a few iron sets that he believed would play well to make strengths, weaknesses and overall improvement of my golf game for not only the short term, but the long term as well. He was very honest, accommodating and never felt like he was pushing you to buy any specific clubs or coaxing you into certain models. He isn't a car salesman and didn't act like one - his passion for the game is reflected in his work and complete focus when analyzing a player. Have recommended John to multiple friends for fittings and all had the same great experience. Won't get fitted for any other clubs going forward other than by John.

Amazing Place - Real Experts…read more Went to get fitted for a driver with Dave, he was awesome. Super knowledgeable and friendly. We spent over an hour trying different shafts, heads, lofts, lies etc... He was able to cut my backspin almost in half and I gained over a club and a half of distance. It was a blast. Also bought a putter that I fell in love with and Dave fitted me for that in 10 minutes. I'll be back for a full set when the time comes.

There were 7 employees standing around with 2 shoppers looking for shoes. The one employee who finally attended to us after the rudest eye contact and body language took forever to help us. All the employees were rude, dismissive and I can say confidently I will never go shoe shopping or do ANY shopping at DICKS white plains again. So rude and frankly, useless.

Already, I'm seeing tremendous results in consistent contact, improved distance and better aim. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and approachable. They explain swing mechanics in ways that are easy to understand. They have helped me grasp the bigger picture concept (how a motion fits into the broader swing) while still capturing the nitty gritty details that are also very important. The lessons and drills are planned out so that they are easy to digest and retain. Rudy does a great job of building on prior lessons and concepts, so the time is well spent, as well as utilizing the technology very efficiently.

The course is very cool visually on some holes, and 18th hole is really nice. Having said that: meh. Nothing about this course that differentiates it from numerous other courses that I've played in my life. Fairways and tees were lush but not well-cut. Like most golf courses, it's really just a function of how much you're willing to spend. The more you spend, the cooler the experience is likely to be.

A good public golf course with a well-maintained field. Normally I'm not a fan of public courses…read morebecause of ill-managed greens and obnoxious players. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the maintenance of the field, especially this late into the golf season. Only negative is the lack of practice range for long shots and chipping.
