I love the fact that the lessons are indoor and has cameras so that he can show me and I can see what I need to change and work on. AND there's free parking !! Something I was worried about with getting lessons was not getting my money's worth. Sometimes instructors can be very chatty and I don't feel like I'm getting an actual full hour's worth of a lesson. If that is something you're concerned about, please consider Nowndale! Every time I come in for a lesson, it is jam packed with information and practice time. He really focuses on the lesson and your improvement. I feel very comfortable asking him questions (even if they feel silly) and he'll kindly answer and help me understand. I really have nothing negative to say. I have had 5 lessons and each one has been a very positive experience. I still have a lot to learn, but I can definitely say I have improved a lot since starting lessons.

I had a previous golf coach, but he wasn't great and I started plateauing and did really, really bad. I got frustrated with golf and I didn't know how to fix my mistakes.. and my ex-coach wasn't helping either so I paused lessons with him. Then my friend recommended me his previous coach, so I went to Nowndale and after just ONE lesson, my game started improving right away I was shook!!! After 2 lessons, my form looked so much better and I kept looking forward to seeing Nowndale the next week after. It was the only thing getting me thru the week, the lessons with him. He's so, so good at explaining the mechanics of the golf swing and how to get you to do exactly what you need to do for the perfect swing. I ask so many questions during my lessons and he's so patient with me and answers all of them, and encourages me to point out my own mistakes and explain to him how I could correct them myself. He genuinely wants to see me improve, and even during my practice sessions when I get frustrated and text him, he tells me to send videos of my swings to see what I'm doing wrong to help correct me. I have recommended him to my friends as well and I really really hope he can stays here for the long term because I am for sure not going anywhere and at this point I feel like I NEED his expertise and lessons to get to where I want to be in golf. He is very detailed about understanding the basic and theories of swing so my swing can be repeatable. It is like breaking down the "physics" of golf by bits and having you to understand why each bit is important for a good swing. A little note form my lesson today: Gear 1: body Gear 2: arms Gear 3: hand and clubs - They should be lock, unlock, lock OR unlock, lock, unlock. NO 2 connecting locks or unlocks. Stage 1: gear 2 movement, gear 1 and 3 lock. Make sure the swing up is above the plane (or above "water level") then swing down plane. Armpit is connected to the body and not loose, loose of arm and body will cause gear to loosen up. Stage 2: arm swing with hip movement finish; or 3 quarter swing. Starts with stage 1, finish with hip rotation forward, left hip on top of ankle (weight forward). And slight head tilt.

He asked me to show him one swing & he took a video and just dissected the swing. And instead of giving me 1000 different swing thoughts, he really simplifies the game. He'll have me make one little tweak and he'll say exactly what the ball will do. Then he'll have me make another tweak and he'll predict correctly what the ball will do. He's really a wizard with it! It has a long driveway by a church and a shopping center all the way to the back. If they have a really good membership here, they give you 100 balls a day and half off of green fees. Super worth it. As far as the green, it is an 18 hole which I haven't seen too many par three golf courses that are 18 holes, but this one happens to be one. I believe the furthest hole is around 120 yards, so this is great working on your short game. I look forward to returning to this location
