    Range balls...

I have never been on a range with this many dead golf balls. A large bucket is also $18... Been coming here for 20 years and this is the worst the range balls have ever been... Over half the range balls are absolutely worn out and dead..

Tried the buffalo wings today. So bomb!

So we were shooting golf at the local par 3 and notice they had put up a new menu. To our surprise, the 3 things we ordered were absolutely exceptional. Will stop by again before our round to fuel up b4 hunting for those birdies =)

Heard a little about this place and all were fairly positive, so I wanted to try this place out. Located in the City of Arcadia, just off of Live Oak Ave., the golf course is hidden off the main street, with only a sign located at a small private/alley type of street, follow this alleyway all the way down and a parking lot with a small building located at the far end. The building itself is a no frills, older rectangle box with the main counter, a small but impressive golf shop and a small snack shop with a half dozen tables inside, patio tables and chairs also available outside. The driving range looks top notch with new artificial grass mats at every golfing station, area including the putting greens appears to be well taken care of. Played the course, 18 holes, all par 3's, was a little warm today, so we opted for the golf cart to take us out and about. The course itself is fairly well maintained and in good condition, the only thing that could use improvements were the artificial tee off mats at the start of each holes were quite beat up and old. This facility also has what is call foot-golf available, basically it is golf with a soccer ball, and instead of golf clubs, you kick it into these larger holes located near the putting green of each hole. Looks kind of fun and is definitely something I can see me bringing the Wife and Sons and their girlfriends for a day out for fun and exercise. The only draw back with the footgolf is that if your playing actual golf, and your following a group of foot-golfers, you will get caught up in a traffic jam, what you'll have to do is skip a hole or two and get in front of them and then come back and play the holes you skipped. All and all, a fairly nice golf course to play at, staffers were really nice and helpful, will definitely come back, 4 stars from me.

The course is not well kept it's a boring course to play golf. a terrible place for scpga jr tour event. They have to hit off a mat but the mat doesn't have a hole for the rubber tee. They don't allow spectators they are rude. The snack bar is closed and the "pro" shop is over priced and have limited items.

Love this course. Our church had its family golf tournament here, our first since the pandemic. We give a big shout out to Tim Gore, Tim Rao and their Chef. They were extremely helpful and made our family tournament a big success. Our participants gave high praise to their staff for their courtesy and helpfulness. We will be back!!

Love this neighborhood golf course! I came recently with the hubby to hit balls on the driving range. Great set-up, reasonably priced, and lots of fun. A few years back we came with our 2 adult kids and did the soccer golf. That was a ton of fun!!

The two lower levels have the ability to play different games on monitors that track your shots. There is also a nice sized putting green, chipping/pitching, hole and sand trap behind the range to give you the ability to practice whatever weaknesses your game throws at you! Beginners to scratch golfers, or just a family or friends fun night, this range has it all! Let's GOOOO!!!!

Parking can get full pretty quickly. Thankfully we opted for carts with our tee time, so we did not have to walk a bunch. Due to the rainy weather, we were told to drive on the cart path which we understood, but at some holes it was difficult to see a clear pathway. Our time at the golf course was fine until Hole 11, where a Guardian Community tent was set up... The dude that was there introduced himself and asked if we were interested in donating, in which we kindly declined. Bad idea. He then goes on and on, persistently asking us why and even called one of us so serious. I've never experienced someone being so pushy for donations. As someone who doesn't play golf regularly, I would honestly skip Hole 11 completely, just to avoid another rude interaction with someone from Guardian Community. The whole situation just left a sour taste in my mouth. Like seriously, you're going to call us names for kindly declining a donation. What happened to respecting our time and being professional, dude was talking while people are trying to putt. Hmmm... I did like the range for the TopTracer, but now I am reconsidering coming back.

The course itself is decently maintained, but I will say the parking lot and the front exterior needs some work. There's also a restaurant if you're hungry and they have a few snacks in the pro shop. This place is no frills, but it's great to just get some practice in on a nice day and get in 9 holes.

Rancho Duarte is the place to come if you want to learn or to reacquaint yourself to the game again. I came to do both. I came to play again and to have my sons experience the game of golf. This course is walkable but golf carts are available. The fairway is a little worn, but the greens are maintained and green. If you need anything for the course the clubhouse offers anything you will need. Rent clubs, need balls, gloves, tees, etc. The gentleman who helped me was very helpful. The fees to play are reasonable. Cheaper to play during the week. There is also a bar on site as well. I'll have to check it out next time. I hear the food is great. They have a driving range to work on your swing. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again.

I can only speak to the actual golf experience here which is what my review will entail. All the trappings you need for a golf course is there. There is grass where there needs to be and the essentials are well kept. Yes there are gopher holes littered throughout the fairway but then again I hack away at grass that can serve as a respite for other animals so...it's all fair. You get golfers from all levels and I often see The First Tee there using the putting areas or some of the holes to teach young ones the game. I'm all for that. Pace of play could be an issue as I can see some folks wanting to get 9 holes in relatively quickly and thats why they come here. If that's you, things might get a little tough here depending on who you run in to. Lastly, big shout out to holes 1-3 as some of the most fun holes to start a course in the area. It's been a minute since I've come to play here and maybe things have changed a bit but for what it's worth, this is a great place to come for super twilight, watching the sunset against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Foothills.

The tee boxes and rough were less than acceptable. Beat up and let go is an understatement. I brought my own pushcart and on a hot day it would be too much to walk. I avoided the cart fee because of all the negative reviews about them prior. For $22.75 during the week for 9 holes, minus the cart fee, it's steep (for what you get). Based on the conditions I'd suggest $15 to walk and $25 including a cart on the weekdays. It is tucked away off a major street and it has potential, but considering it would be $45 for 18 holes this course is not worth the return. Golf is at an all-time high and Eaton Canyon can do better.
