I shanked the first five balls since I was a total beginner, but Jeff was awesome. He directed me to work with Will as my coach and never pushed me toward the more expensive options. He simply gave me the sheet and let me choose. I signed up for a three month course with once a week training and Will was the best. I am now actually able to play golf... imagine that. Stop wasting money on expensive rounds when you can train consistently for three months and become a much better golfer. Great people and I highly recommend them. They gave me the confidence to play solo when I travel. Super pleased!!!!

Scheels is absolutely massive and somehow manages to have just about everything you could possibly want for sports, hunting, outdoor activities, and more. The selection is impressive, the store is consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Beyond the sporting goods, they also have an enormous selection of clothing, footwear, accessories, and other gear. One of my favorite things about Scheels is that they carry a lot of unique brands and products that you simply don't see at most other retailers. That alone makes it worth the trip. There are really only two downsides: it's almost always busy, and it's not cheap. That said, the sheer size of the store usually keeps the crowds from feeling too overwhelming--unless you're at checkout. And while the prices can definitely be on the higher side, I somehow manage to walk out with something almost every time. I honestly wish there were several Scheels locations throughout the Metroplex instead of just one. This is the kind of store you can spend hours wandering around in and still find something new. Antique and vintage golf memorabilia line the walls and the owner, Cullen Davis, greets you with a smile from his office table. The shop has a wide array of used clubs for sale that are in great condition but the real draw of this shop are the putters that Cullen has hand crafted. I purchased a vintage golf bag, a couple of clubs and even had him do some custom stamping on my set of SM8's. I wish there were more shops like Custom Craft Golf.
