Halva coffee & vegan banana walnut muffin

Went here to do some work on my computer on a Monday morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. They got a variety of alternative milk options. This spot has some specialty lattes. I had the halva latte without honey. Because there was no honey I added a little sugar. I think next time I'd order just a regular latte because it wasn't that unique (probably because it needed to be altered). The vibe is super nice for getting some work done. There's low lighting. It's clean. They've got easy access to wifi and lots of tables.

Even though I walked so many times in Yorkville area - really didn't see this place until was found on Google maps! While the coffee shop looks stunning with some interior parts that expose corners and edges of actual wall.. the price seems quite a lot for coffee and sweet treats! The customer service was good, not much to say as I didn't get to Interact. The place is quite full and gets busy from what I noticed. There is no natural light except if you are sitting at the front as it's in a basement.. while the theme of this place is quite interesting, there was no coffee shop like atmosphere and it could probably because of the day I chose to go (dark outside) and I think I may try this place again as I am here quite often :)

I've come here a few times and it's treated me alright. Latest time was during COVID and service was lacking but the iced mocha latte and tiramisu were fantastic. Like I said, I do come back here and pre-COVID it was usually pretty busy so it's a solid choice.

At hard times as such, we need to support our local coffee chains. Friendly, good coffee and good treats it's really Goldstruck here when you find this cafe which is in Yorkville. Also, talk to the barista they're friendly and with almost everyone working from home, it's the best way to still create a conversation without being on the computer screen.

This place is in a great location - trendy Yorkville. Downside is that on the lower level, downs some stairs so not that accessible if you have a stroller or, crutches etc. It's also a bit and really loud - or maybe I just have the misfortune of being there a few times with loud talkers? I don't know. The cookies and butter tarts are good. I'm going to assume it's about the coffee and not about the food. Although I wish there would be more wow factor on the sweets display and sandwiches (turkey and ham on croissants). Had a sandwich and although I asked that it be warmed, it was only slightly warmed on top and not through. They do give you a nice big cup for your tea and at nearly $4 bucks you appreciate it and drink it all! It's a nice alternative to other popular coffee shops and the folks behind the counter are lovely.

Came here at 9:30am on a Monday morning; relatively empty. Barista was very friendly, gave me some good recommendations on their signature drinks. I had my mind set on a cappuccino, however, and I had it with caramel flavor shot. Total came to $6.20. Ambience is great inside. The decors are very artsy, kinda rustic, but not pretentious like some hipster cafes. I feel at home here. And the noise level is just right, which means I can read/write in comfort. Would recommend for those in the yorkville area who are sick of having Starbucks.

Flat white (but tasted like a latte)

Came here to get a bit of work done before an appointment in the neighbourhood. At 2pm on a Friday, it was surprisingly busy with all sorts of people: students, shoppers and tourists. Although many of the two seater tables were filled up, at the back there is a communal table that will fit about 6-8 people comfortably. I ordered a flat white and personally, I felt it was too milky. It tasted more like latte - which isn't a bad thing but I was expecting a flat white. The music is not the best as noted by another reviewer, but i generally listen to my own music anyways or I'm too involved in a conversation and forget the music is even there. It does get loud when it is busy. Overall, I think it's a nice place to get work done if you're in the area and you don't mind nose, but I would go somewhere else if I wanted to enjoy a delicious caffeinated beverage.

A cute little coffee shop tucked away on Cumberland St in Yorkville. Honestly, everything on Cumberland St is "tucked away"; all the places are small and squished into a small area. That being said, Goldstruck has super low ceilings which may make it seems slightly claustrophobic to some but it's quite a large space. It's quite a "lengthy" coffee shop and you'll see what I mean if you ever visit. I got a flat white and my friend got a cappuccino and we both a cute little heart in our coffees, and they were super cute. The actual coffee itself was delicious. Normally I'm not big on enjoying the bitterness of coffee and I prefer it on the sweeter side but this flat white was delicious as is. It was very smooth and perfect for sipping on a chilly (March) afternoon. There isn't really much to say about a coffee shop. If the coffee is good and the ~ vibes ~ are good then its a good coffee shop. And Goldstruck is a good coffee shop. Next time I'm getting the Vanilla Raf!

Goldstruck Coffee is one of the cutest cafes in Yorkville. It's close to the public transit and parking is also available on the street or by the parking lot nearby. I only found out about Goldstruck because of Google and one time I was sitting at Starbucks across from the street and I saw it which reminded to pay a visit the next time. (It is not really on a street level, more like an underground but you'll see the sign as you walk by.) When I came, I ordered an iced latte ($4.95 I believe and pretty sure it was only one size), I think the price is more or less similar to Starbucks. The drink tasted delicious, decor on point, can get a bit dark but great ambience overall and sufficient seating in a small cafe. Would return and try other items on the menu!

Very cute and chill interiors. Good for working and a moderately priced cup of coffee. Sweet/kind staff. A go-to spot in the Cumberland area.

Very good coffee. The decor and interior very pleasant. This addition really adds to a DRAB stretch of Cumberland/Yorkville. Main NEGATIVE.. I know it's subjective, the music HORRIBLE. Really bad dance mix of Bel biv devoe, other cheesy dance tracks. You hope the music compliments not hinders the experience, most individuals on a laptop, having conversation will hate it.

Basement entrance. Large windows let in lots of light.

Ordered a watery, tasteless cold latte. No taste at all. I was expecting something good but not a glass of terrible.

This is a cute little cafe. It's super small and there isn't that much space for seating if it gets crowded. Their cookies are very tasty!!

Walking inside, the warm cosy lighting and long barista/display counter immediately caught our eye. While it was relatively busy, it was also fairly quiet - perfect for those who wanted a quieter space as well as those looking for soft, casual conversation. We were sucked in by the delectable looking strawberry roll cake in the display counter for an early dessert! The cake was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, balanced with just the right amount of strawberry & whipped cream filling. We also shared a hot, unsweetened matcha latte. The bitterness of the matcha, creaminess of the frothed milk & whipped cream, and sweetness of the cake were a perfect culinary match :) Would definitely come back for another visit!

I know that the ube trend is taking over but PLEASE before you advertise your product as such, DO YOUR RESEARCH and make sure that you are actually serving the thing. I'm Filipino and not only did I feel so offended by how this tasted, I also felt like I should be refunded. First of, the ube mixture was RED. I don't know where you're getting your ube mixture from but ube is PURPLE. The powder was chunky and did not at all taste like ube. Please, I get it we all want to make money from whats popular but take time to educate yourself. Get it from the right source OR ask a person who knows the product if its being presented right or if tastes remotely close. I'm very disappointed and would no longer be advertising Neo to my friends & family
