    Just a lil downtown coffee.

Located in the Commerce Court lobby in the downtown core, Dineen Coffee is pretty convenient to get to. It's always bumping with office workers, so the lineup sometimes gets a bit long - in case you're in a rush. Their sandwiches and baked goods look quite delicious, but I would rather sit on their 140 Yonge St. patio vs. this more corporate setting! This location is also PATH accessible but close enough to the street entrance/exit that there's less chance of getting lost due to its terribly confusing labyrinth ways (if you know, you know).

Tried the vanilla latte again! But this time, with almond milk and half sweetened. Interestingly, the latte was considerably less sweet this time; the coffee flavour was much more pronounced instead. The almond milk substitute thins out the coffee more than the oat milk, which I actually preferred! I found that the oat milk made the drink much more indulgent and filling than necessary. I'm unsure why the drink was significantly less sweeter this time, but I liked it a lot more. Next time, I think I'll try the cortado - I've heard amazing things!

My office location moved to the heart of the financial district, so I've been on the hunt for a regular coffee joint. Dineen Coffee is simply a beautiful bar located inside the CIBC building. However, it seems like everyone and their client comes here. I found the wait to be extremely long and the prices to be higher than at other small, independent coffee bars. It was a hot day, so I ordered an iced mocha, which came out to about $6 after tax. While the drink was refreshing, the wait was not worth it and neither was the price.

My fav spot in the PATH for a coffee break. The ambiance is so nice & calming with lots of seating options. Go-to order: Temperance Brew, Flat White or Cortado + blueberry scone Pass on the matcha latte, vanilla latte and mocha.

Open early and have top quality coffee. Being from out of town I wanted to try some locally roasted coffee. Luckily Dineen is only 350 feet from the One King West hotel. I'll probably drop by everyday I'm in town now that I know it's so close and delicious!

I got a tea and an americano , it wasn't bad and service was great. However their advertised free WiFi was extremely slow and they took a long time to make the americano as well. It's essentially just espresso with hot water. I don't quite understand why it took so long.

Walking inside, the warm cosy lighting and long barista/display counter immediately caught our eye. While it was relatively busy, it was also fairly quiet - perfect for those who wanted a quieter space as well as those looking for soft, casual conversation. We were sucked in by the delectable looking strawberry roll cake in the display counter for an early dessert! The cake was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, balanced with just the right amount of strawberry & whipped cream filling. We also shared a hot, unsweetened matcha latte. The bitterness of the matcha, creaminess of the frothed milk & whipped cream, and sweetness of the cake were a perfect culinary match :) Would definitely come back for another visit!

I know that the ube trend is taking over but PLEASE before you advertise your product as such, DO YOUR RESEARCH and make sure that you are actually serving the thing. I'm Filipino and not only did I feel so offended by how this tasted, I also felt like I should be refunded. First of, the ube mixture was RED. I don't know where you're getting your ube mixture from but ube is PURPLE. The powder was chunky and did not at all taste like ube. Please, I get it we all want to make money from whats popular but take time to educate yourself. Get it from the right source OR ask a person who knows the product if its being presented right or if tastes remotely close. I'm very disappointed and would no longer be advertising Neo to my friends & family
