This gym use to be LA GYM but now has been taking over by Golds Gym. Walking in, I was greeted promptly. Super friendly staff. It was my first time in last week and I was surprised of how nice this location is compared to expressway one. The bottom floor when you walk in, you'll see the child car area on the left and classes, locker rooms, and entry to the pool through the locker rooms on the right side. Oh and also, I think .. small class studios. Right in the center of the gym is where you will see all the free weights, racks. Suitable for squats, deadlifts etc. Everything is super clean here as well it seems like. The up stairs where you'll see more cardio work machines. I haven't really gotten to look in depth but so far I'm really loving it! PS :: Try out and see if you are able to get a free pass online!!! It's all worth it read more

Fear, friendly staff. As clean as a gym can be... all equipment is in working order, or repaired quickly. If I was to have a complaint it would be that they do not have quite as much specialized bodybuilding equipment as I would like. But that is a minor problem read more

The advertisement photos are misleading. the pool, hot tub, and saunas have been closed/inoperable for more than a year.

This is going to be similar to by previous reviews of la fitness and 24 hour fitness gym because nothing really has changed. The top floor is more cardio related machine while the bottom floor is more heavy weights. The sauna (both hot and dry) is still open with the pool and the jacuzzi still being the same. They also have shower area but I personally just go home to shower or if you need too... Make sure you have like flip flop to protect your feet... The staff is friendly and i think the friendliest out of all the different company and their staff. A lot of personal trainers and I hear them with other gym member and they seem to be encouraging yet firm and I think that's better than the trainers at 10 gym because they just push everyone at the same level which we are not... read more

The staff is really nice. Small gym, always really cramped especially the free weight area. The equipment options aren't great either. Always really quiet too, feel weird even deadlifting like I'm making to much noise. read more

Restrooms are clean, and the gym is very large (has pinned machines upstairs and free weights downstairs). The only reason I still go to Gold's Gym it's because I've been member for almost a year when it used to be "LA Fitness" and it's been changing from owner to owner. I don't really like it because their saunas and hot tub are almost always broken which is not okay. I just wish they would put more effort into their business because it seems like they don't care. They said that they've been replacing a lot of equipment but they have not done anything like that, all they've done is putting pictures on the walls that's it. read more

This Gold's gym is great! The staff is all kind and supportive. Robert (the owner/manager) is very personable and helpful for starting your membership and taking advantage of all his staff and facility has to offer. He and his staff were very accommodating for me pursuing a membership pause while I am gone with my job in the military. The pool is amazing, equipment is top notch, and any issues with broken equipment has and continues to be fixed. I decided to try out the Tri-Pack deal, and received high-level focused instruction on some exercises I could be doing better. Even if you are an expert, I am sure you will learn something from the personal trainers here. Regardless of this facility's past, this Gold's Gym is outstanding and a great community of fitness/health conscious people that I will continue to support and participate in. If you looking to do some cardio this is your gym, if you are look to lift weights I recommend to go to another gym, I think the men's bathroom is bigger than the actual free weights area. This gym could be improved a lot more, more squats racks, Machines and they need an area space to do such things like leg lunges, stretch, do sit-ups, rope jumping. read more

Very clean and always have working equipment. Those are the two things I look for in a gym because typically they're dirty or always have equipment that needs servicing or unavailable since they're broken. I love working out at the Moore location. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. read more

I had a great experience here. This is probably my favorite location to visit in the OKC metro area. The kids club seemed nice and there is a sauna and hot tub and pool for adults. I enjoyed the staff and they seemed nice. read more

We have been members of this gym since it was LA fitness. While the staff at Golds has definitely tried to improve the facility (more items to purchase, fresh paint, new weights) the overall cleanliness has taken a major hit. The hand sanitizing stations upstairs are always empty. They replaced them with spray bottles which are usually nearly empty. The machines are not as clean as they used to be. Also, in the last month I've seen a change in the type of members. The free weights are almost never racked correctly. The cardio machines are dirty. I rarely see members (or staff) cleaning them. read more

It's what you'd expect from a big box gym. Nothing special, nothing bad. Overall clean, staff is friendly, equipment was in good working condition while I was there. Biggest complaint is the gym changed ownership 3 times while I was a member, and made cancellation when I moved out of state even more of a headache. By that, I mean it was LA Fitness I joined, changed to 24 Hour Fitness (still same hours), then finally Gold's Gym. Even after sending the certified letter with proof of residence outside of 30 miles of ANY Gold's Gym they continued to try and charge me. There is no way to get a hold of Gold's Gym Corporate, so I just disputed the charges on my account and got refunded. Find a gym you can do month to month with and save yourself the headache. read more

Racist gym. They give misleading information. Unhelpful. Terrible hours. Ridiculous monthly rate for minimal hours.

My daughter and I joined the gym a couple of months ago because they have a pool with a chair lift that can raise my daughter in and out of the pool for her physical therapy. We haven't had a chance to use the equipment because the few times we wanted to go upstairs and use the machines, the elevator was down and since then we haven't had time, but they seem to offer a variety. All of the staff is friendly so far. They open doors for us since there isn't a handicap button for the main door. The locker room is large with a handicap toilet and shower but it's impossible for my daughter to wash her hands after using the bathroom since the sinks are too high for her to reach from her chair so she has to use sanitizer wipes. Since the handicap shower is the largest, it seems to be the most used. I have to wipe down the seat each time and clean up all of the hair and muck from the drain. It's usually gross and some dirty spots on the walls haven't changed since we've been attending the gym. The water control is unreachable from the shower seat and so is the hose. I have to stand in the stall with my daughter to hand the hose to her and hold it so that she doesn't have to put it on the dirty floor. The floor is also slick, so I have to hold my daughter up on her crutches so that they don't slip while walking in and out of the shower. If the gym could find a way to make the floor not as slick, attach a holder for the shower hose by the bench, and clean the shower, it would make us more comfortable. Also, the tile around the outside of the pool is always dirty. Overall, the staff and members are nice. People go out of their way to help us, which is very much appreciated. read more

It's been about 10 days now and management still has not responded to my email about the front desk guy who was so loud, and obnoxious that he single handedly changed my mind about joining. I had gone in with the intention of signing up after I came in for my 3 free work outs as I wanted to make sure it was a nice pleasant work out environment. The man was overly aggressive like a rabid dog and actually snatched the pass out of my hand when I went in for my 2nd visit telling me it was the last time I could use it. The few people in the gym at the time, on a weekend, started turning around looking because he was speaking so loudly. I was so uncomfortable that I actually left with out working out. read more

I have had a terrible experience here. I decided I did not need a personal trainer anymore so I told them I was going to stop that service. I had to give 30 days notice before they would stop taking money out of my account for that. Fine. They told me when the last withdrawal would be. After that last withdrawal they continued to take money out of my account. I complained. Different people would tell me different things, like I had to give 30 days notice, which I already did. I told them I wanted to terminate all my services and was told it was taken care of and I was given confirmation numbers. Then in June (this all started in April) they took out $331.78. No one could tell me why even after I walked in personally to talk to someone. It took over a week just to get someone to tell me what had happened. Apparently someone had signed me up for some training package I had neither approved or even known about. I was trying to leave them not sign up!!! I was reimbursed $220. I decided to just let the rest go, glad it was over with. But, no, this month they took out $43.39. When I called to ask why I got a new operations manager who told me I had signed a year contract? Really? This was the first time I had heard of this. I had signed up for a month to month contract. I would never have committed myself to one year. Monday I close my bank account and start over with another one to prevent being robbed by this place anymore. DO NOT go to the the Golds gym in Moore. read more
