The owner of the donut stand, when I saw her at Holi Seaport (downtown Manhattan), was very nice and humble. Even though she was working a packed station, she still took the time to serve me personally. She sold out all her donuts, which tells you just how amazing they are. The ambience depended on the event, since it was just a stand -- I didn't go to her actual shop in Weehawkens. Given that she does a lot of events between New York and New Jersey, the vibe will vary depending on which one you attend.

Cakey, moist, delicious... very good. I also tried their chorizo breakfast burrito. It was a little heavy but very tasty. I could only make it through half. If I had added avocado, I think it would have been perfect. The wrap itself was chewy and fresh! Alfalfa is a great spot, especially if you have any dietary restrictions. Will be coming back!
