Every ( and I mean every one) table was unclean, food particles, open condiment wrappers , used /unused napkins, actually on tables and floor. I cleaned our table so we had a clean place to sit to enjoy our meal. I did note, everyone whom Entered after us had to do the same routine of clearing/cleaning their own tables. We would think with 4-6 young adults standing by behind the counter, with two actually standing outside of the counter area, near the door chatting away with a group of friends for as long as it took for us to clean our table, eat our meal with a toddler and clean up or area.... Someone would have had time for sanitation of tables and possibly a broom for the floor ? Don't recall seeing a manger during our visit or maybe with the lack of supervision/drive/instruction/organization... I just didn't recognize them . I just think it's a terrible shame, with only just having renovated this establishment and the rising costs to eat here.. to have to come into an unkempt, unsanitary dinning room and the employees left to do as they will. Not sure how long the nice new look will last under this way of management...

I don't even know what the hell this place is doing in Houma. If you don't know Houma, it's small…read morebut it's surrounded by water. Swamps, lakes and the gulf. Guess what that means? Seafood...and lots of it. I mean, if I'm choosing between fried chicken and seafood? Bye bye chicken. We were desperate for a shrimp poboy one afternoon not long ago. This place apparently serves them and is really close to my sister's house. I'd noticed it before but actually thought it was no longer in business because it looks abandoned and no one is ever there. Really. It's just desolate. No cars are ever there. Ever. We called in an order for two shrimp poboys and off I went, hungover and salivating in anticipation of a shrimp poboy to comfort me. First of all, they were out of lettuce and tomatoes. This was not mentioned to us when we called in our order. How do you think you can serve a shrimp poboy with no lettuce or tomato? Seriously. And you don't even have any other people to serve? Ok... My sister wanted extra mayo. Guess what? They were out of mayo, too. Yeah. There's a reason they are always empty. The shrimp poboy wasn't good even after we had to doctor it to death at home. I can't comment on the chicken because I didn't try it and frankly won't be back to do so. Don't. There are way better places to eat in Houma.
