Danny's always slaps when it's fresh! The rolls are so good. The chicken, flavorful and crispy...they know what they're doing.

The cashier was very helpful. I wanted 30 pieces of chicken. She helped me calculate which meal and special would be the best value. She was very friendly and helpful. Very poor service. Employees make you feel sorry that you walked in. Spent 42$ on a two piece and some tenders with a few extra sides. As I was eating with my brother a family member of mine walked in and got a order to go. After she left the two employees that clearly did not want to be there let alone take her order started profiling her wishing she hadn't come in and how they dislike her stereotype. I let it go at first but they just kept talking. I ate a few bites of my food but couldn't listen to them complain and profile my family member. So I let them know about it threw all my food away and left. That is awful don't come here unless you want to get crap service from people that don't want to be there, get talked about and profiled after you leave. read more

THE BEST DANNY's of all the locations! My grandbabies are hooked on the rolls! I always treat my kids to lunch in Thibodaux, I bring them the works! Onion rings portion is not cool, AT ALL. Basically delicious fried chicken. Nothing over the top but obviously a local goto favorite. Nice staff fast service. And good chicken. It's not pretentious it's not discovered. Not hot not fancy. Stayed in Morgan City, La. for 4 days and ate at Danny's 3 times. No thrills no frills interior but the chicken is first grade. First time I had white beans and rice and after 3 visits I am addicted. So, if you want great chicken and tasty sides - especially the white beans - all wrapped up in very reasonable pricing, Go To Danny's. The food is good for a random fried chicken place. The problem is that because it's not a say first tier name brand chicken place like popeyes or KFC whatever it doesn't follow a lot of the same deals. They will nickel and dime you for things. It's not the cleanest place to go either but the staff is friendly and nice enough. I wouldn't go if the chicken and chicken strips weren't good. Just know you can't substitute say a breast for a wing in a 2 piece meal. So you then have to be charged for more. Stuff like that makes it aggravating to go there but the food isn't bad so it depends if you think it's worth it. read more

Got Chicken. Only one type, fried breaded, no choice of spicy or original or grilled. Good fried chicken, eat while its hot/fresh. Take out is preferred. There is sitting/dining room, but minimal , in my opinion is a bit in the distress side. read more

I used to eat at Danny's and although the chicken was ok there was not special about it. The place looks unkept and dirty and some of the workers are just plain rude. I no longer go there due to a recent incident. A local church was having a car wash to raise money for their youth group. The church contacted Dannys and asked if Dannys would donate a bucket of chicken to feed the workers. Dannys refused ...so now I refuse to go there. If Dannys does not support the community then we should not support Dannys. read more

I grew up in the area and Danny's use to have several locations in the area. They are down to one location now in the Morgan City area. The chicken is consistently good but the best thing that they have going is the rice dressing; so good. Whenever I am in town I stop by just for the rice dressing. read more

Yes it's a fried chicken joint, but it's definately a hometown fave. Their frozen lemonades are a refreshing summer treat. Tastes more like homemade lemonade than those I've tried other places. They have the absolute best rice dressing! I often crave it. There's hardly a time when I pass in front of this place and am not tempted by the smell to stop in. Not a fan of liver and gizzards, but they are one of the few fried chicken places I know of that offer it. They also offer fried onion blossoms (also good) and shrimp or chicken shish kabobs (could use a little more seasoning). read more

I stoped by to buy a bucket of Chicken about 11:42 AM today. I ordered a 12 ps. Fam pack at 11:47AM. Didn"t get my order tell 12:10. Is this the Norm? You had 2 emp. changeing the Oil in the cooker at Lunch Time. Is this the time for this? Lunch time should be the time for sales not changing the oil.
