Deceiving the good people of Morgan City is a disgrace. To think that this would pass as Danny's original. Flavor (bland greasy), taste (not spicy whatsoever) temperature(ice cold) all wrong. I think it was Rouses which I've had and fresh and hot. For the arm and (chicken)leg price you should be ashamed of yourself Danny's and if this was a one off an investigation is desparately needed. 7pm August 6, 2026 chicken purchased with high expectations only to be left with disappointment. $$$ wasted...

The family atmosphere and phenomenal food is why you will keep going there. Last night we had the chicken fried steak and club sandwich. The club was perfectly balanced with meat, cheese, and veggies. Add a side of onion rings or fries to make it your own. (You could add a side salad that is large and probably better than you can get at any restaurant!). The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the mashed potatoes were to die for. Our bellies were full and our wallet was still intact. Head there regularly and you will find quality grub at great prices. I would also recommend the beignets even though I didn't try them. The table next to us kept ordering them and devouring them as fast as they could get them. Maybe next time I'll get to try them because they sure looked good.
