This place is great but you should know the unspoken rules:…read more 1. While the window says $20/ hr this refers to foot massage only. 2. Body massage is $28/hr and the quality will vary with the masseuse. Don't get me wrong I've never had a bad massage, but there is good and then there is great. Some of the masseuses will incorporate Thai stretching and also walk on your back. It all depends. It helps if the receptionist is in. She is generally the only one who speaks English and if you request these things she can convey your wishes to the masseuse. The receptionist generally starts at 11am and the shop opens at 10am. 3. A TIP of $10 is mandatory for all one hour massages. Just consider it part of the pricing and avoid a headache. 4. You are not here for the atmosphere. If getting a foot massage you're hanging on the first floor with all the other masseuses who are on break, and watching tv or on their phones/pads. Not a big deal if you bring your earphones or don't mind the communal atmosphere but as another reviewer mentioned it can feel like you are in a Chinese family's living room. If getting a body massage you're heading to the basement and thin curtains separating you from your neighbor. It's fine so long as you're not expecting a spa. For $28 an hour you'd better believe they're maximizing on space. In the end it doesn't prevent you for getting a good massage. 5. Last but not least CASH only.

My friend recommended this place to me, and I think they provided a pretty good massage. I asked…read morefor the foot massage and the guy was pretty strong. What I didn't like was the atmosphere. There's a couch but it's occupied by people on their iphones and ipads. I'm not sure if they are employees or friends of the business, but they didn't say a word. The foot massage is 20 dollars, but they asked if I want a neck massage. They didnt tell me it had an extra $5 charge and eats into the total time of the foot massage, definitely disappointed in their trickery. It's awkward sitting there and getting a foot massage, as people are loudly talking, on their phones, watching chinese soap operas/news..etc. i felt like I was in a chinese family living room. As I got stuck there due to rain outside, they offered me to sit and wait it out. It was really awkward as the couch is still filled and no where to really sit. If you dont care about all of that, the massage I got was pretty good at least. They do have a rewards card for a free body massage after 10 stamps.

If you been researching online you might have came across a few things advertised about this place, but let's get to the facts. Here's what happened. No free shower or two women for 40$ as advertised by them ...and I know what you're probably thinking maybe I'm hideous...but no I'm athletic and good looking and on the hunt to visit and review places Genuinely. So my conclusion is that it's just false advertising at it's finest or maybe they do it when they feel like it (like mc Donald's with the ice cream machine) because I did go late in the day and there was only one woman to be seen. Maybe she wanted to close early who knows 2. Prices listed 45 for a hr and 40 for half hour and that alone is like ??? Anyways My experience was 45 + tip started with a dry back rub then after 5 mins oil was added (very little tho) the back massage was corny, But Her hands were okay overall I spent 80 assuming I'd get my hour and tip her but no after 25 mins she mentioned something about the boss and had to cut the time short so I said okay and asked for some money back since I wasn't getting my hour but then she tried to argue and I didn't come there for that so I decided to take the loss and leave. If you do go for whatever reason after reading this I recommend to pay for your hour and Wait to tip if you're new that's my strategy anyways I barely got 30mins ,And for what I paid I would say it's not worth it. Women there about late 30s / mid40 age OVERALL that was my experience I personally don't recommend this place only because there's other places around that can do way better for what I paid. You're welcome for the review everyone be on the look out for my detailed genuine reviews. 2 stars cause the customer service could have been way better price could have been negotiated better overall massage could have been better. But the place wasn't dirty looking or smelly.

She could not wait to get me off the phone after answering saying there were no appointments today. They expect you to schedule in the morning like people do not have other responsibilities such as a job, when apparently their nail tech is coincidentally not available today (a sunday) and then leaves everyday at 5pm. They rush you off the phone and dont care for the business it seems. Here's a tip- don't advertise a deal or service without being able to offer it to customers. Alot of companies advertise on places such as groupon and as soon as you mention you bought a deal...all of a sudden they dont have an availability lol ironic huh---whats the point of advertising then??So stupid. Would have rated 0 stars.

It was a great deal at $20 for the hour. First they soak your feet then start by working on your legs and then onto your feet. The guy was great, he asked to make sure if I was ok with the pressure. It can be quite painful if you're getting the massage for the first time so he was making sure to lower the pressure if needed. He was very thorough and made to sure to get all the knots out of my feet. By the end of the massage they started to bring cups and I thought to myself, ohhhh man they're going stick some cups to my feet and so the fire started and I knew for sure. If you aren't use to it or if its your first time it can be painful so be sure to let them to use little suction. I just let them go H.A.M on the suction so hopefully I'll reap the benefits later. The cups stay on your feet for a few minutes and is to keep the blood there at the bottom of your feet. The guy made sure to get the whole bottom of my feet and kept going for the knots with the cups. After the suction cups they bring hot stones out and use them to massage your legs and feet. It was great as the heat helped relax the muscles in my feet and legs. Lastly he rolled my pant legs down and did a quick and short leg massage. Overall the guy put in a lot of effort and he definitely deserved a good tip. I gave the guy $10 because its what people like that should get for an hour of work like this. I would definitely come back again.

Literally had such an AMAZING foot massage but what ruined it for me was at payment I gave the masseuse a 20% tip, he says something to the front desk guy and then he tells me tip is $15. At no point do they mention tip is a minimum of $15. When I asked why he seemed to have caught an attitude but there was a language barrier so I wasn't going to argue. Again I didn't mind giving him the tip because the massage was great but forcing a $15 tip is not okay.

Katie is a very gracious woman. My massage was almost as good as I've ever had, finished with a warm towel. I went in extremely sore and left feeling fine, fixed up, so no complaints here. Best to call in advance, but I needed no appointment. The location and ambiance is workaday. It's a basement apartment with carpet and furniture like you might get on Craigslist, so it's cozy but no-frills. You massage is in a small room partitioned and curtained from the main space. Bland possibly-relaxing music plays softly in the background. In short, the place is sparse and comfortable--totally fine, but I'd say this is what will keep it from a fifth star. If you were pickier than I was, you might be a little less happy here, and I think some simple upgrades to furniture and decor will be what makes this place perfect. But they have some nice attention to detail--fake potted plants on the staircase down from the street to the iron barred door brighten the feeling a bit. Value is very good. Prices are somewhat under a dollar a minute for longer massages; the longer the massage the better the value. I don't think you could find a better price in the city, so this place excels in this regard.
