This is an excellent Thai restaurant. It's family owned and very nicely decorated, and the owner is very personable and friendly. The food is delicious, I got the Pad Thai which was super tasty. My friends I went with all got the Golden Thai and Massamun curries and they all loved it. The service was great, it wasn't busy when I went during lunch, so we got plenty of service. I have zero complaints about my visit and definitely will be going back. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! I am not one to write reviews but I felt obligated. Worst customer service ever!!!!! I ordered food and they told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. I gave them 40 minutes. When I get the nasty lady in the front tells me in the most rude tone. It's not ready. I said ok we'll do you know how much longer I have to go back to work. She says I don't know, we are busy and walks away. Comes back several minutes later and says so you want it or no. So I can tell them not to cook it. There was no Im sorry we are busy do you mind waiting. Disgusting lady and disgusting customer service! Don't go here if you want to be treated like shit! Short hair Asian lady! Stay away read more

Delicious! Loved my curry and my mom loved her Pham Thai. The lunch special is a bargain. Server's warm and wonderful. Go here!

The food is delicious, and the staff is super friendly. We had the masaman curry, drunken noodles, veggie spring rolls, cream cheese wontons and Thai tea. We had to try a little of it all and everything was superb. We will be back, many times. As far as COVID precautions, the restaurant is clean and we were properly spaced. 5 stars all the way around. read more

We've been missing Thai since the owners of our favorite place retired. Looked up some places when visiting Utah and stumbled on Golden Thai -- it did not disappoint. The owners were friendly and we had some nice small talk, wife Marina lived near us in Nor Cal before joining her husband in Utah. I always have trouble deciding which dishes to order. We had two different curries, a green curry + coconut milk (and chicken) and a red curry with seafood. Oh, and some Drunken Noodles packed with a variety of fresh veggies. Someone has some mad knife skills, the carrots were cut in amazing cris-cross shapes. Choose the protein of your choice or keep it vegetarian. Since two of the three dishes were spicy I asked to have the spice toned down on the noodles. It was perfect and came with some chili powder on the side for the "some-like-it-hot" folks at the table. Look forward to returning on our next trip! read more

To be completely honest, my wife and I have searched for the best Thai around to satisfy our taste buds. We've tried several places in Utah County looking for the qualifications of authenticity, perfect spice heat level, and of course great environment. I would highly recommend this place, The Manager is amazing. read more

My pho was amazing and the service was wonderful. Pleasant environment and nice ambience as well. Will be back for sure.

This restaurant is so family friendly. I've been here twice and Haaretz the same waiter both times. She is so relatable and kind. I remember requesting a hot curry and we talked about how hot I actually wanted it. And she nailed it! I love this place and want to go back. They've got some amazing wanton soup and pretty good curry. read more

This place is great! It tickled my taste buds in just the right way. My new favorite Thai place .

This is one of my favorite Thai places, the avocado curry with shrimp is money! I also love the green and pumpkin curry

Best place in town. Beats any place I have been to. Friendly owners that give the best service. Lots of options in the menu and at a great location. Did I say it was the best?! read more

Man alive, that was tasty. I literally licked my plate clean. Avocado curry will now occupy my dreams.y wife had the golden curry and gives it a hearty endorsement read more

I ordered the pineapple rice and mango curry. The fried rice was really tasty and had a milder flavor. The mango curry was made with coconut milk, really aromatically pleasing and flavorful. I didn't realize how well mangos paired with savory foods. I'd like to try the Pad Thai when I visit again. read more

We tried Rad Na and Som Tum (Papaya salad). Both tasted very authentic. I spent more than half of my life in Thailand so I'm a snob when it comes to Thai food. The som tum was pretty spicy but that's how I like it. The sticky rice was great, too. The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star review is because the som tum had lettuce in it... That's the only part I thought wasn't super authentic and it just didn't go well with som tum. Next time I order som tum there I'd probably ask them to not put the lettuce in. Other than that, every was great! read more

Food and service is really good. We will be back for sure. The beef waterfall and massan curry are good choices.

We've been here so many times over the past few months that we found this spot. Marina always knows our regulars and is very cheerful. We love the food, especially the curries and the pad Thai. Our go-to Thai restaurant in the Provo/Orem area. read more

This place is legit outstanding Thai food! So much better than the last few Thai places we've tried in town. The food was outstanding and the service was superb, extremely friendly and no long wait. Very excited to return and try a few other dishes, but the Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and combo appetizer platter were all wonderful! Try it, you will not be disappointed! read more

Without question the best Thai food in Utah County. The staff was exceptionally friendly and it feels more like visiting a close friend for dinner than just eating out at a restaurant. Our new go-to place. read more

Excellent quality, reasonable prices, great ambiance. Good stop on the way from Salt Lake City to Moab, UT, close to Costco in Orem.

We came here just to try it out. As Thai cuisine lovers, we've been to so many Thai restaurants so needless to say, our standard is high. First impression, this is a spacious restaurant with very nice decoration, very "cultural" I should say. The environment gives us the authentic experience that we always look for. The staffs were helpful and so friendly. Even the chef went out to greet us. We felt so welcomed here. Next point is the foods. Oh My God... The foods were outstanding. This is one of those places that offer you quality with reasonable price. We ordered F1 (fried rice) and C7 (curry). I have absolutely no complain about them. Beautifully executed. Spot on seasoning. Fried rice is not greasy but flavourful. Toppings like shrimps can easily be overcooked which I have seen a lot. However, mine shrimps are cooked to perfection. Our curry is not just regular curry but has a twist to it. Lol. As stated on the menu, C7 is a combo of 3 types of curry (red, green and yellow). It sounded weird at first but we ordered it anyway. We have no regret doing so. The taste actually make sense. It's a combination of rich, creamy, not too spicy, light. In conclusion, we would, without a doubt, come back to try the whole menu. So good and so fresh! We got the avocado curry and the ginger stir fry and they didn't disappoint. The place has a lovely vibe too :)

I thought the food was delicious. They have a very nice lunch special that I think is worth the price. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is cute and clean. Be careful with the spice level though! We got medium and our mouths were burning, haha. I would definitely go back! read more

The best Thai food in Orem for Provo. The owners are always nice, too!

This restaurant is a delightful little Thai gem nestled in Utah County. The authenticity of the Curries and Pad Thai would dazzle any foodies pallet. The avocado curry is outstanding and cannot be found anywhere else in the state of Utah. If you are a little less daring and new to Thai the Drunken Noodle would be your gateway ticket to a lifetime of loving Thai food and you have found the best place to have it at the Golden Thai Cuisine. read more

Really yummy new Thai place. Seasoning on the curry was just right, and they have a good variety of beautiful desserts. We also ordered the Pad Thai and it was great. read more

A solid 5 stars rating a week ago found us finding GTC. Ten stars I'd give if possible. Quality of food - outstanding! Golden Curry for me; a mix of yellow, green and red that delights the palate. Not too sweet, not too thick, just right with chicken almost melting in my mouth, it's tenderness perfect. My wife? The Thai Basil. Again, perfection. Prices and portions were just right. GTC owners, husband and wife, befriended us and talked about their history, family and restaurant goals. Lovely people. Nicely decorated in Thai motifs with warm, colorful walls. Highly recommend GTC to locals and travelers passing through Provo, like us. Could see this as a regular in our rotation if we lived in Provo instead of Montana. read more

So good! The food was fantastic. We ordered a chicken red curry and a chicken mango curry. I love that you can pick your heat level. For me, medium (about a 5) was perfect. My husband had them do his red curry at a 6 and it was almost a little too hot for me, but perfect for him. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We'll definitely come back, and take the kids with us next time too! read more

Wonderful Panang curry and excellent Tom Yum Soup! Marina, the owner, was our waitress and she had a bubbly and warm personality... very kind and hospitable. Also the decorations are beautiful and it's family owned!! We'll be coming back for more!! read more

Family owned and the food is absolutely delicious! Best Thai I've had in Utah Valley-- hands down. Highly recommend Drunken Noodle and any of their curries-- but especially their Golden Curry. The restaurant is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They are following COVID restrictions to a T. Tables are blocked off for proper social distancing so you can feel safe eating out. Or you can get their take out. You will NOT be disappointed. read more

This is some of the best thai food I've ever had. Kind staff. Delicious food. Clean. I highly recommend the golden thai curry but we ate family style and everything was amazing. We will be back soon! read more

This is the best Thai food in Utah County! My wife lived in a Thailand and all the flavors were very reminiscent of her time there. Service was personal and amazing. The Massaman Curry is incredible! Will be back so many times. read more

Dropped in to place a take-out order. Was told it would take 20 to 30 minutes even though they were not busy looking at all. It was closer to 45 Before I finally got my food. The food was incredibly mediocre. I'm used to good Thai food from San Francisco, and this was not it. Everything was very bland. Is there any good authentic Thai food in Utah Valley that isn't dumbed down for the local population? Serious question. read more

Friendly and attentive service plus great food. This is probably the most flavorful pad Thai I have had in Utah County. Also, the avocado curry is a must try! Great location, clean and nicely decorated restaurant, tasty food, great service. Winning combination! read more
