Hands down, the worst hair experience of my life. I reached out to them after seeing a well-written FB ad, and was answered by Emily Bradstreet, a "stylist" there. I told her exactly what I wanted, she requested a pic of what I was working with, I had an inspiration photo and clear intent, and she was 100% sure she had this, no problem, so easy, this will be great. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL...now I understand that not every service is easy to perform, but this girl is beyond clueless! Even after consulting with other, seasoned pros she couldn't color my hair in any fashion that resembled what a person should be walking around with. From ashy to muddy to purple, I was in her chair 3 times and she just kept making it worse....and worse. Long story short, to cap it all off, when I got home after the third attempt after getting the bum's rush as she had other things to do, I was told I needed to finish fixing it myself!! She said to wash it with purple shampoo by leaving it In for up to 20 minutes and that would fix everything she had screwed up. I left in in under 5 minutes and had lavender hair. When I reached out and told her that her advice hadn't worked and this was not a way to be seen in public, she proceeded to swear at me and call me "babe" like a 12 year old. The point where I became really scared is when she told me, on my last horrendous service, that she didn't really want to be a hairdresser and had quit for a while and was really a CAR MECHANIC!! Unfortunately, at that point, I was mid-service and afraid of upsetting her when my hair was in her (inept) hands, so I kept quiet lest she purposely make it even worse, which I could easily see her doing. How the hell is she even working in a salon?! I was nice to her throughout and very polite despite being very upset, and she swears at me, calls me names, and sends me X's and O's as a goodbye text along with good luck wishes. When I called the salon, I got the manager, who was very kind and sympathetic but couldn't do anything but offer to fix my hair (like I'd go back there) and tell me the owner refused to refund my $. I personally think it should have come out of the mechanic's salary, but that's the owner's karma. AVOID this car mechanic masquerading as a hairstylist, she's nasty, rude, incompetent and a hazard to your hair! read more
