$50.00 for a pedicure with no polish is absurd. I will not be returning nor recommending it to others.

Unlike other nail salons, Golden Nails always has a tech or receptionist available to greet guests and answer phone calls. Golden Nails is HUGE and with many techs on staff, I always find my nail appointments to be so quick with little wait times! The techs are friendly, always offer me something to drink, and able to do a free fix as needed. I had to post my most recent acrylic fill because it's been 3 weeks and they haven't chipped AT ALL! Although this spot can be a little more spendy, I believe the quality is worth it! Would recommend! read more

Walked in for a pedicure and acrylic overlay. The place is very big and very clean! I got seen right away. The pedi chairs are big and the massage was strong. The nails look great. I felt well cared for and feel great. Only reason for 4/5 is because it's not cheap. But I'm happy overall. read more

The nail people don't do a good job! My nails looked awful! I will never go back. The salon was very clean and beautiful.

Somehow the technician cut my heel enough that it wouldn't stop bleeding. It took four bandages to stop the bleeding. Not only did she not offer a discount or explanation, I was overcharged by $10. I've been a customer for over four years. no longer. When I mentioned to the manager he said, We have some liquid skin if you want. How often do they cut people?! read more

Lisa did my nails and she did a great job! I would recommend them to anyone. Professional and very courteous!

I always see Wynnie at Golden Nails and she does such a great job. My gel manicures will last me 4 weeks and I always get complimented on them. My only complaint with Golden Nails is they don't generally keep track of appointments, so even if you make one you may have to wait. Otherwise I've had a great experience here. read more

Mike is always so awesome! He never lets me leave feeling less than amazed by my nails. Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing time at Golden Nail. I am getting married and made an appointment my bridal party and me. We got there and they were already for us. Everyone was awesome! They were so friendly and welcoming and helped us pick out the best colors and designs. I am literally obsessed with my nails. They turned out even better than I thought they would. Honestly best nail job I've never had, they are perfect. Also cannot believe they are my real nails. All of my girls and my mom loved it what they got. I will definitely be back!!! read more

I came in for a gel manicure and while it was cheap, it was not what I expected. I called in advance and was told they don't take reservations. When I arrived I waited about 15 minutes to be sat. I was then seated at a short chair right next to someone else getting their service done so I could rotate in as soon as it finished. The color I picked (confirmed the correct number) was extremely different from the color swatch. The service felt very rushed. This is not the place to go if you want a relaxing service. It was loud, dusty, and crammed together. My polish came out uneven and was applied very thick. I will not be returning read more

I was looking forward to relax, get a gel pedi, and read my book but I was really stressed the whole time it didn't seem like the nail tech knew what she was doing. Barely spent any time scrubbing the bottom of my feet, did one foot and forgot the other. It was very odd. I also didn't expect it to be $65 for a basic gel pedi. I hate leaving bad reviews but I would not return here! read more

Another amazing experience with Kayla! She is always ready to recreate whatever look I find on Pinterest. Her skill and personality are just two of many reasons I have been seeing Kayla for over 5 years. I followed Kayla over to this new salon and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the old salon but this is definitely a couple steps up. The interior is luxurious and the massage chairs match. I was provided with my choice of beverage and eventually *almost* fell asleep. So, to say the least I was incredibly comfortable and well entertained for the entirety of my appointment. I also met several of the other nail techs along with the manager and can assure you that you are in good hands. No pun intended. If you do any waxing at the nail salon: This is a great place to do it. I didn't have any wax residue sitting inside my nose for the rest of the day (Yes, I get my nose waxed) and it went very quickly. The wax room is also nicely tucked away for more privacy. Overall I had a great experience at Golden Nails and I will definitely be back in the future. They even take walk-ins! Perfect for some spontaneous self-care read more

Gel: this salon gets you in and does any request. I would say every tech has their own strength. Lee is my go to for gel polish mani and/or pedi. their business level effects their quality as I think it does any business. all and all, I've been going here for over a year and Im happy with all the work but Ms Lee is your girl for gel! don't forget to tip ya'll. Its how employees thrive. read more

Well, I used to go here for a pedicure once every few weeks and it was fine. Today I feel like I got screwed. Had my normal service but she was using this weird light thing on my toes, that I was having white polish applied. When I was done, she said $70. I usually pay $55. She said it was "gel" polish, which I didn't ask for. She said the polish she removed was "gel" it was not. She said she tried to remove with polish and it wouldn't come off. She did not try using remover, I was watching. She went right for the drill and took it off. I'm pissed off and doubt I will return to the salon. It's bullshit. read more

First-Timer here! I've been getting my nails done for YEARS! They are not super long as I'm very active, but at the moment I have the almond pointy look. We called ahead, but I ended up waiting about 15 minutes. As they we're busy! I'm not sure of the gals name, but I immediately showed her what I wanted. She said okay. That design is $20 extra on top of the $60 then she said it was extra for the shape of my nail. She basically complained and tried to argue with me said it was complicated when in reality just a couple of colors side-by-side. So, naturally I find something more simple as I want her to be confident in her work. In the mean time she appears to be moving faster and kinda rushing. I find another picture, French cat eye. Then she says that costs even more! AND again will take a lot of work! Sooooo, I say forget it, let's keep it simple just paint them all pink. She gets happy and says "okay!" My thought why are you happy about that? Well about 10 mins before we were done, another lady showed up for her appointment with her... Ahhhh yes, that is why she didn't want to do my design!! Moral of the story, I walked away for the first time completely unhappy, with no design. She made a quick $60 without much effort. The shape of my nail wasn't even nice. At least that would have "kinda" made up for all of the pushback. I would not return, the guy who greeted us was nice, but that all I can say about perks! My bestie ended up paying for a $100 pedi. I would say that was standard pedi, but she added some basics and it drove the price up! If ya want speedy, bad service and a not so great product this place is for you!! read more

RUSHED AND BAD TECHNICS I went here today to get basic white dip powder on my real nails. I have been here many times before and even when they had a smaller shop. I liked Emily so I requested as i have done before and she did a good job BUT NOT TODAY. When I asked for plain basic white dip powder she said they didn't have it but the owner was at the front and another nail tech said they did. This place is a very rushed environment and money hungry. They aren't worried about customer happiness or technique. THE MAIN PROBLEM was how she removed the dip I was getting off. She did not soak them at all and just drilled and tried to pop the dip off by scraping and stilling a cuticle tool under. Ridiculous and it hurt. I stopped her and she seemed to be annoyed. I said I didnt want my nails done anymore and I went to BT Nails in Brooklyn Center instead which was way better (request Tina). read more

I go here a lot. I usually am happy with the result. This last time was kind of an unfortunate experience that will deter me from going again. I walked in for an appt and sat down with one person before moving on to another person that didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted. If she had let me clarify that I didn't need that much length, my appt probably wouldn't have needed to take 90 mins for a fill. She made the square very wide on the sides coming out, the pictures are taken after I filed down the sides myself. A week later, the nails started falling off. When I went back to get one finger fixed, she made me feel bad about not wanting to pay $50 for a whole new set and seemed like she was really annoyed to have to redo my one nail. Very sad, I really liked going here but I don't like being passed around like chopped liver and not having my needs listened to or met. read more

I am not one to complain but my experience with this company was just awful I went in a couple days before thanksgiving and got a full set of nails. Within 3 day 3 nail were already lifting I was out of town so I was unable to go get them fix. By them lifting the started to rip my real nails really bad. I had to go buy super glue to hold them down because it was so painful and I was unable to get them off myself. As soon as I was back in town I went to get my nails fixed. They almost didn't do it because of how much damage was done to my real nails from acrylics lifting. after sitting there for another hour while they repaired my nails at the end they tried to charge me. I had no problem with tipping but I don't feel that is fair that I have to repay for poor quality!!!! I've been getting my nails done for over 16 years never in my life has a nail lifted after 3 days not only one but 3 nails!!!!!! That is poor quality! They argued with me and embarrassed me in front of everyone like I was lying they asked me what the name was of the tech this was only my 3rd time there and i paid in cash so I didn't have her name on my venmo. I was so frustrated and humiliated I said forget it I will just pay but I wont be back. Now it hasn't even been 2 weeks since I had them done and I have 2 more nails lifting!!!! read more

Why have appointments if you end up waiting 25 minutes past the time they asked you to be there? Then have them spend less than 20 minutes on a removal of gel and gel mani. She barely did any cuticle removal and this was the only gel mani where they didn't ask me to wash between removal and new application. I try this place every 6-8 months to see if they improve, not sure I should. read more

Staff here are friendly, but be careful of the constant up charges. I went to get a pedicure, but the specials were only good on weekdays, not weekends. Strike one. Then I wanted the full pedicure with scraping and all. Extra $5. Strike two. After picking some polish out, they constantly pushed me to do the gel polish. I will never do the gel polish and ruin my nails. I understand it sucks to get off and need to go back into them to remove it or have them fill it in for more money. Strike 3. Lastly, the nagging didn't stop about needing to do my eyebrows, manicure with gel polish and designs... Aside from all the nagging, if you can be assertive, you will get what you need for a reasonable fee. I also enjoyed the chair massage, foot massage and free drink. They offered a lot of pop options, water or tea. $40 later, my toes looked pretty for my date! I would recommend this place for large groups as well. They had at least 8 pedicure chairs and 6 manicure tables. read more

I think it's important to know that there is only a 1 week guarantee on nails. I went in for a dip manicure and about 3 days after my hair started to catch on one of my nails and 9 days later they were all peeling up at the base and chipping near the ends. If I knew about the 1 week guarantee I would have went in right away, but have never had a place guarantee less than 2 weeks. I paid $50 not including tip and expected better. The tech was kind enough to take the remaining dip off my nails, but I am still disappointed in the quality. I won't be back. read more

The guy did REALLY good on my nails. But the girl who did my toes seemed high! She kept painting and taking them off 3 times! I had an appointment and I was waiting over 30 mins. She took an hour on my toes and most of it was as due to painting! 2 days after I was done 3 of my toe nails broke with the gel. I came back and they said they had no time to fix 3 toenails. They tried tell me come back another day but no I paid GOOD money and I need my toes fixed! Then they said fine go wait in your car and didn't even give me a time. And started speaking other language and had the whole nail shop thinking I'm crazy. So don't waste your money they love to get you in for a new set or new toes but won't finish the job once they mess up. read more

I've been coming to Golden nails for over three years now. I've come in for a fill multiple times and each time I've had my nails done without needing to take off my original nails for a fresh new set. Today on February 25th 2022 I came in for a fill and the nail technician began ripping off my nails using an acrylic tip without filing them down or soaking them in acetone it was extremely painful and she could tell that I was extremely uncomfortable but she kept going. Ripping of nail enhancements without properly soaking them is very damaging to my nail bed. She also glued the tips on with my nails all jagged and ripped up didn't even cut them down. Then I got a whole new nail technician. After my service was done, I was told it's 75$ and when I asked why a fill with no design , no special shape just green tips is 75$ because I've gotten way more detailed designs and paid 75$ which is understandable. I was told it's 75$ because they had to remove my tips ( wasn't told why they had to or even told they were going to have to remove them) because I've been getting fills at golden nails and never had my nails taken off they just did a normal fill. I'm not angry with the price because I still tipped but very disappointed with the service and lack of communication with me so I was aware of the situation. As a nail tech making sure you are not to rough with someone's natural nail is very important and being gentle because it's very painful to have acrylics ripped off in that manner without any consideration for my nail bed or comfort! Especially when you can see as a nail tech that your customer is pulling their hand back and verbally saying ouch multiple times. And when I said this is really painful and damaging my nail bed why can't we soak them she kept ripping them off saying I'm almost done. read more

Such a poor experience. The only words that were said to me the entire time I was here for my Manicure were "pick a color" before we started, "do you want to pay now" midway through, and then "don't touch anything" while the nail tech walked me to the hand driers. On top of that, my manicure is AWFUL. my cuticles are rough, my nail tips are uneven, and there is polish all over my skin but some of my nail is missing color! How does that even happen? I didn't experience the up selling others did but if I had I think it would've been laughable. I could let my 8 year old do my nails for me next time and I'd have better results and save myself the $$. read more
