Went here for lunch and was so thankful we did- the wait staff is lovely and attentive, the food was DELICIOUS- homemade taste and perfect level of spice. If you like East Asian cuisine, definitely give this place a try! Also- prices are very reasonable. Best of luck to Golden Lotus, our family will be back!

Our new favorite Chinese restaurant!! Great food, great portions. Ordered the hot & sour soup- very good, wonton soup- really good flavor- tasted a bit of sesame oil , got the Szechuan beef combo w/ pork fried rice - beef pretty good. The hunan shrimp was so good! A lot of big tender shrimp w/ tons of fresh veggies; zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, peppers, onions. So flavorful. Also got shrimp eggroll - there were 2 very nice sized shrimp in it. Also got the orange chicken - very good, tons of orange peel - very nice sauce w broccoli.

Everything was cooked to order and served hot. The wonton were crispy and the noodle dish was spiced perfectly. And we had leftovers. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. We will absolutely be back, and we've already started recommending Hills to Sea to friends and family. If you're a sushi lover in Lancaster County, put this place on your list immediately.

I could have that comforting ramen dish every single week, it's THAT good. The beef chunks were also very tender and not at all dry. Was pretty cool to see okonomiyaki on the menu as well - we split it between two of us as an appetizer. Although I don't live nearby, I'd love any excuse to return and try more yummy looking offerings from their menu.

Noodle Shack is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking available. During my first visit, I had the pleasure to try takoyaki for the first time. These soft, pillowy octopus fritters garnished with sauce and bonito flakes that danced as they reacted to the heat we're as exciting to try as they were delicious. Upon entry today I was quickly seated and was one of two occupied tables in the dining room. The waiter came over and took my order of Zhanjiangmian. My previewed the menu online beforehand so I already knew what I was going to order. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, clean and cozy. Not long after I place my order I got my food. Zhanjiang is a fermented soybean paste and to make the dish pork and mushrooms are added to make the sauce. To my delight, I was welcomed with a warm and savory noodle dish packed with umami that just seemed perfect for this cold weather. The dish itself does not come spicy so I requested a side of chili oil which I used had some heat and this just amplified how tasty this dish was. I was pleased with my order and would definitely eat this dish again. My only complaint about today's experience, which is a pet peeve of mine, is when the server places the check on the table before I am finished eating. Fortunately, most establishments don't follow this protocol. And although it is my only complaint I do not feel this would prevent me from going back try more of their menu.

The doubles? Exceptional. Soft, perfectly filled, and full of flavor. And the hot pepper sauce? Whew. It didn't just add heat, it elevated an already outstanding dish to another level. I ordered so many doubles I barely had room for anything else but I had to try the dhal and it was exactly what I needed. Comforting, rich, and done right. Everything tasted like true, authentic Trini food, the kind that makes you feel warm, satisfied, and already thinking about your next visit. I was literally craving it every single day for the rest of my Lancaster trip. The space itself is on the smaller side, but really cute and inviting. The service was great: friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience complete. Whether you're new to Trini food or already know what's up, Calaloo will not disappoint. Trust me, you'll be planning your next visit before you even leave.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through!
