I ordered schezhuan shrimp and vegetables and the sauce was really sweet, not the usual and not a schezhuan flavor. my husband ordered egg foo hung and when I tasted it it had the same sauce on it! Cup of soup and an egg roll or another appetizer noted on menu. And it was only $8.25!! I've been here many times for dinner. Best place in Naples. Staff is great. I am a regular customer during the season. The food is delicious only in season. As far as Chinese food here comes summer, the food is so subpar, they water down the soups, and the food is just not as tasty. Perhaps they change chefs, I don't know, but the food quality changes. The hot and sour soup is a staple of mine. I usually purchased it once or twice a week today, there was no taste, terribly watered down, and when I called to tell them that there was something wrong, they hung up on me, not open to any criticism whatsoever. read more

I was in town visiting family when my grandma suggested we come here. She had never been but saw it and wanted to give it a try. It was in season so we came in expecting there to be a long wait but a table had just opened up. We were greeted by friendly staff as we came in. The prices are very affordable and it is not overpriced at all. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious and well cooked. Solid Chinese food. Placed a good sized takeout order on a Sunday night and was told 30 minutes. Arrived 30 minutes later and it was piping hot and ready to go. They boxed it up really well so it made for an easy transport. Inside, almost every table was full and four other people were getting to go orders which I took as a good sign. Egg drop soup was very tasty and hearty. Dumplings were very good too. Mongolian beef was packed with veggies and had a good sauce. General tso's chicken was not very spicy but had a good flavor and big chunks of very lightly breaded chicken. I would definitely go back. Servings were ample. Oh. We have been going to Golden Leaf Chinese Restaurant for some time and have become regular guests, but last night was the last time we will go there. We always go early and order from the early bird menu as it offers the best choices for our children. We arrived at 4:45 PM as we often do and were seated immediately. The restaurant was empty except for two other tables that were finishing their meals and there were at least two servers and several bus staff. Our server came over right away and took our drink waters, but she did not return to the table for 17 minutes. We know this because there is a clock above the cash register. When she returned to take our order, she told us that, because of her delay, we could now not order for the early bird menu as it was now 5:02 PM, and the special ends at 5:00. She has waited on us many times in the past and we reminded her we always come for the early bird special and always arrive at that time. She said "No, I will not give it to you. You should've told me when you came in the door or when you were seated that you were planning to order from the early bird menu. We talked to the manager, and he claimed the cash register would not except an order after 5 o'clock. We told them we have been loyal, regular customers and probably would never come back. They just nodded their heads and went back to their business. Just letting you know this has been our experience at this restaurant. Every other time, good, except for the time my wife got salmonella poisoning from eating chicken lo mein there. read more

The wonton soup was tasty and filled with wonderfully seasoned vegetables and large pork won tons that were really tasty. The pot stickers (pork) were amazing. Plump sized and expertly pan fried - the skin and filling were spectacular. These homemade dumplings were the best I've had south of New York. The beef & broccoli was also expertly prepared. Large portion of tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory brown gravy. The combination dinner was reasonably priced @ $14.50 - quite a bargain actually including fried rice & dessert. This is just a little place in a strip mall, but it definitely transported me back to the best Chinese food places of my childhood. I ordered hot tea to start, and they have a great deal on a combo, which includes soup, either egg roll or crab rangoon, and an entree. The soup was jam packed with egg, tofu, vegetables and meat. The crab rangoon were crispy and fresh. The shrimp in the entree were fresh and perfectly cooked and big, the vegetables were crisp, and the sauce was gingery. The service was a bit lackluster, we didn't really get a chance to see our server after the food was brought out, and my tea was never refilled. But the food was exactly what I look for in a neighborhood Chinese restaurant, fresh and delicious. read more

Great Chinese food. Portion size was good for the money. The general TSO chicken had very good flavor. I the kids portions were also large enough for an adult. I sat at a booth, which is dimly lit. I had a egg roll, it was tasty and not overcooked. Dipped it in the hot mustard sauce. My entrée was from the special menu: three meat broccoli meal (chicken, beef & shrimp). I had the white rice with it. The portion size was huge. Very delicious dinner. Glad I checked the place out.
