Excellent service | Friendly | Amazing hair color by Grismey…read more Grismey is a very experienced and professional hair stylist! I told her I wanted a natural brown highlight that maintained my previous color and she made me feel so beautiful by the time we were done! I don't know how she did it, but she blended my brown highlight into my natural dark black hair to compliment my skin tone perfectly. It wasn't brassy, not reddish, it is this perfect shade that looks natural and still beautiful when it grows out. I also enjoyed talking to her throughout our session! The whole process, from booking to styling my hair, was perfect. I feel so confident going to see her now for any of my hair needs. Thank you, Grismey!! *Shelby moved so I was referred to Grismey. I'm so happy she is my hair stylist :)

Not ideal for a wax session, but it really works. As a first time customer I was offered 50% off. My "waxer" could sense that I was a bit tense and offered me a stress ball. Once again, it worked. She would place the wax strip on my body, rip, then press...it really wasn't that bad! She recommended a gel product to prevent ingrown hair, and it worked. The treatment was followed up with a personal phone call the next day to see how I was and if I had questions. Then I received a card in the mail thanking me for using their services and a 10% off of my next waxing. Overall this was an excellent experience for a "newby " to waxing. If you have been searching Yelp, Google, or the Yellow Pages I can wholehearted recommend this European waxing place.

The service at this locations has been horrible. I should have followed my husband when he switched locations a months ago after they cancelled his appointment and didn't tell him. I'll finish out my subscription at another location and I won't be renewing with European Wax. Suggestions learn customer service skills. They are horrible. Rude!

Bottom line.... GO TO KAITLYN AT BRIDGEPORT!!…read more I haven't let anyone touch my brows but myself in 8 years.... TBH I was scared of going to anyone else after some serious disasters over the years. However after realizing I had over tweezed and shaped my brows too thin over time, I made the choice to grow them out and go to Kaitlyn Zenger. Normally I would just grow them out and reshape them again myself, however Kaitlyn's reputation of being an amazing eyebrow specialist has grown tremendously since meeting her in school. I knew she was the one who could help me and I could trust her to do what I needed with no traumas. I went to beauty school with her and she's always been known to be a wizard with waxing...specifically eyebrows even from the first service she performed on a client. Eyebrow shaping really is an art and not everyone can do it right...even after good training. She is a complete natural at it and does it in a way that is less painful than anyone else I've ever had wax me. She's incredibly thorough, friendly and professional. She even gave me some great recommendations to help me with my brow journey. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Since I've gone to school and know proper sanitation protocols I'm super conscious of infection control and cleanliness. Everything from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was spot on and on par or above state regulations. That in itself should sell you on this place as at least 80% of other places that offer waxing services aren't abiding to sanitation regulations, don't practice proper infection control protocols and/or use subpar products. When you're dealing with waxing and vulnerable skin you NEED to be knowledgeable and aware of what to look for and know you're in a clean place. I can't recommend Kaitlyn enough. I didn't even know I could have such a nice clean shape, these are seriously the best I've ever had my eyebrows without makeup. I'm in utter shock on the magic she did with the mess I gave her to work with. My grown out brows were pretty tricky to shape a good eyebrow out of.

I'm absolutely obsessed with pretty lashes so I'd always wear fake ones (because mine were short, sparse, blonde and stick straight - the combo from hell.) On my first visit I told her about the serum I had just started using, she advised me that I could bump up my usage of it, and oh my gosh! Within a few weeks they were drastically thicker and longer. The results have amazed me. Paired with my lift/tint, they absolutely look better than ever and I don't even wear my falsies anymore! Which is a big deal for me haha. (I've considered lash extensions but the maintenance really doesn't fit with my lifestyle so this is undoubtedly the next best thing!) I don't have to curl them at all anymore and they are dark and perfect. They look great right when I wake up in the morning and after I remove my makeup at night. I am so happy with my lashes now and I've even had multiple people compliment how good they look - which literally NEVER happened before, unless I was wearing my long fake ones! And the amount of time it saves me every morning is just awesome. It used to take me forever to get a good, even curl. I think I'm addicted for life! :) Thanks Kaya for making me feel great!

Usually I like to browse stores on my own but when it comes to makeup, I like assistance to ensure I am picking out products, especially colors, that work with my skin tone. When it comes to makeup, I'm a creature of habit, wearing very little and what I do wear, it's the same colors consistently. I like a no makeup makeup look! So usually when I stop in MAC, I am there to restock my regulars. But sometimes I give in to their offer to give me a makeover or try a different shade of my norms. Such was the case this day. The makeup artist showed me an eyeshadow that had more yellow undertones than pink to use on my eyelid. As subtle as it seems, it really made my eyes pop! I thanked the makeup artist, bought my refills plus this new eyeshadow color, and was happily in my way. Oh, and she signed me up for the rewards program which gave me 10% off my purchase, even better. Even though I live close to other MAC locations, this shop is so easy to stop in when I'm at Bridgeport. Plenty of free parking and I can run other errands while I'm out that way.
