    Small house lo mein
    Fredricka S.

Our 1st time visiting and Golden Kitchen did not disappoint! Our food came out fast, fresh and hot! The house lo mein was meaty and delicious! I wish it would have had more onions but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed! My son had the chicken wings and shrimp fried rice which he says was good but not enough shrimp in the rice. He said he only counted 7. My nephew had the sesame chicken and he enjoyed. I tasted both of their chicken and I found them to be pretty good as well. The place was clean and the service was very good! I recommend giving them a try and I plan to visit again when I'm in town!

My husband and i recently went for the first time to this gem of a place…read more Grahams Landing is a wonderful restaurant with really tasty food and a lovely view of the Marsh walk but not in the busy area of the Marsh walk. Just for something different i chose the house salad with ranch dressing and honestly it was the best i've had in a restaurant, it was fresh and really good. My husband got the she-crab soup and he was smiling from ear to ear. he also got the grilled ham and cheese for something different and he really enjoyed it. I had the fried scallops (best i've ever had in a restaurant) delicious, fresh I can't wait to have them again. Wonderful food, view, staff, place. Prices were very good. Thanks again

No pics-the food was too good to wait!…read more Our service was excellent. She was prompt, attentive, and gave extra attention to details like bringing a plastic plate instead of a ceramic one when I asked for an empty plate for our toddler. We had a large party and that didn't diminish the quality of our service. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes say "no filler" on the menu and they mean it. That was exactly how a crab cake should be made and the texture was perfect. Our party had every iteration of oysters you can get and they were all great. They were accommodating for a member of our party with celiac and her food was exactly what she was promised. Other points of note: Bar service was quick and friendly. The hostesses promptly accommodated our party of 10. The straps on the high chair actually worked (if you're a parent then you know what I mean). And my favorite of all: there was no tv to be seen from our table so we were all able to chit chat without distraction from glowing tv screens. This was our first trip, both to Graham's Landing and Pawley's Island. We typically vacation on Georgia beaches but we will 100% be coming back to this beach and more importantly Graham's Landing.

Then another kid got involved and continued arguing. So we just got our money back and didn't take the sandwich. If management isn't going to work evenings they need to teach some customer service cause frankly these kids sucked at dealing with a simple problem!

We did come in on a busy Saturday night at prime dinner time so we had to wait about 40 mins, but I knew there would be a wait so that's fine. Also, once you sit down, you don't wait for anything. Every time we ordered, the food came out in a few minutes or less. For our first round, we started with the a pot of jasmine tea, cucumber salad and the crab rangoon. The cucumber salad seems like such a simple dish, but the mix of flavor they add makes it a refreshing bite between each course... this is a must have. The crag rangoon was some of the best we've ever had and we loved it so much that we ordered a second plate. There are only three per plate so order accordingly. The tea was great but let it steep longer than you think you need to for maximum flavor. Next we did a round fo dumplings. Obviously we had the pork soup dumplings which were fantastic. I wanted to get more, but we had also ordered the sichuan chili wonton and the pan seared pork dumpling. While I enjoyed both of these, I would probably try some of the others on the menu next time. We finished with two entrees. One was the udon noodles with chicken and the other was the beef and broccoli. I love udon noodles for their bouncy texture and this portion was plentiful. The beef and broccoli was so tender and delicious. This would also be a must order item and make sure to get a side of white rice to go with it. While the robot didn't come anywhere near our table, the human servers were all amazing and made sure we had everything we need at a moments notice. They really run a tight ship here and can turn tables while providing excellent service all at once. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

**A Comfortable Visit to Panera Bread - Florence, SC**…read more I stopped by the Panera Bread on David H McLeod Boulevard recently for a quiet breakfast, and while the experience had its charms, there's certainly room for this location to shine a bit brighter. I ordered the Ham Croissant Benny - Black Forest ham with scrambled egg and cheesy benedict sauce nestled in a flaky, buttery croissant. The flavors melded. That croissant had good texture, and the benedict sauce added a nice richness. My only small disappointment was that it could have benefited from a bit more time on the sandwich press - the center was a touch cool when I bit in. Still, the taste was there, and I enjoyed every bite. The Bold coffee was... well, coffee. It did its job and paired nicely with breakfast, though I wouldn't call it particularly memorable. Sometimes that's just fine when you need a reliable cup. What I appreciated most was the relaxed atmosphere. This is an older Panera location, and it shows its age a bit - the space could use some freshening up here and there. But honestly? The quieter pace was a blessing. I never felt hurried, and I was able to spread out some paperwork and take my time without feeling like I was overstaying my welcome. There's something to be said for that kind of comfortable, unhurried dining experience. I've always loved Panera's aesthetic - that inviting combination of stone and wood creates such a warm environment. This Florence location has good bones and that classic Panera feel. With a little TLC, it could really be something special again. The bottom line: If you're looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a decent breakfast without the hustle and bustle, this Panera fits the bill. Just maybe double-check that your sandwich is heated through before you settle in.

I have ordered MANY times from there and the chef is amazing and the other staff seem nice, but she is HORRIBLE to deal with. I walked up front and she took her sweet time to meet me there. I said Hello, and she said....nothing. I told her I wanted an 8 oz She crab soup an 8 oz garden veg soup and 2 waters. She picked up the 8 oz plastic container and said this is the 8 oz size. I said yes. She rolled her eyes and threw it back on the stack. Like it was too small of a portion to buy. When I went to pay she grabbed my credit card out of my hand and put it in the reader that was in front of me. I did not like that and found that extremely rude. The soup was pretty good. The roll served with the soup was very stale. I could hardly break or cut it apart so I didn't eat that. There is no customer service number to call to complain about this woman or I would. This ruined my lunch and I Will NOT return to this location.
