The small throne of the Golden Dragon
    Bathroom Review G.

**This account just reviews restrooms** You can say whatever you want about Golden Dragon. You can say that the place smells weird, the parking is terrible, the food isn't very good or whatever you want, even if you don't actually believe it. You can even say it has ghosts. I don't care. I wouldn't stop you. However, you cannot deny one single fact. The Golden Dragon has an an absolutely mediocre bathroom. Upon entering, you're greeted by a kinda small toilet. I was at first offended by the height of said porcelain throne, but figured maybe the shorter among us feel similar about higher seated places of personal business. It wasn't cold when I went but I appreciated the sight of a heater to apparently keep your bare legs warm during the vulnerable position of answering nature's call during the cold North Idaho winters. I don't have anything particularly bad to say about this restroom other than it definitely needs a good cleaning as grime and other unsavory substances have built up over years. I appreciate the garbage can being placed near the door, but much like it's brother in charge of disposing a different kind of waste, it's a little bit small and low to the ground for my liking. Ultimately, if you ever find yourself at the Golden Dragon, you can take solace in the fact that you will have a completely adequate time.

    General Tsao Chicken

Let's start out swinging. If you are eating here, please take out a small loan because you're gonna need it. Food is mediocre at best, for 2 people we got the general tsos chicken $21.95 ( decent ) crab Rangoon's $13.50 ( good ) and Mongolian beef $20.95 ( okay ) these 3 combined costed $61.95. Can't imagine a family of 4 trying to eat here , total rip off for the amount of food you get. Please go somewhere else. If you boldly come here anyways , crab rangoons were good with the sweet & sour sauce. Brought it up to 2 stars, excluding that definitely 1 star.

Not a basic American Chinese food place. I'm used to chow main being a soft noodle. Not a fan of the crunchy noodle.

Order lunch to go there every so often. Definitely recommend their combo system they have. I myself am addicted to their spicy soup.

It's Chinese food in Post falls. Expensive. Mediocre and MSG. Servers are very, very busy and do a great job.

The ambiance is actually pretty cool though there's a big fish tank that my kids were obsessed with. They had Oscars in there, which was awesome to see because my brother used to have those. Brought back memories. There's also this setup that looked like smoke slowly creeping out of it, which added a nice touch. Food-wise, I'll give them this: hot food was hot, cold food was cold. That matters. But a lot of it leaned really salty. Our waiter was patient and kind, which goes a long way especially with kids. Mine had a great time and got to try foods they've never had before, so that's a win. Yeah, some things were a bit sticky but that's pretty standard for buffets. We went at dinner time. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either kind of middle of the road. That said, I really liked their little gift shop I'd come back just for that.

Our server was quick and smiled accommodatingly as the two of us ordered way too much food: "You seemed like you knew what you were doing." You know what? I did not know and I learned that I will be eating noodles for 4 days now! That's the kind of support I have been missing from waitstaff lately. Let me mess my bowels up. 5/5 spice why not? (3/5 is the correct amount) I feel like this establishment needs to add a karaoke bar; no explanation, I just feel like it would make it more like itself. Next time I might just start singing anyways. The staff would probably smile and say: " It looks like he knows what he is doing."

The curry rice had a great ratio of veggies to pineapple chunks. These guys do NOT skimp on veggies. And everything tasted so fresh! Even their fried tofu tasted that it was just fried. Mind you that I do not like peanuts at all but the yellow curry were chock full of boiled peanuts and I devoured the entire thing. Pad Thai was great-- this was a vegetarian version so the added a lot of vegetables like snow peas and peppers which are unusual for a Pad Thai. Highly recommended this place!
