Drive to Trigs or battle Super Wal-Mart…read more Very Limited Variety: Have an alternative item in mind. Convenience: Location is convenient. Check out is SLOW. No Hustle. They ID everyone "under the age of 99" . Everyone. Be prepared to be behind a Senior getting carded for wine. Quality depends on what is purchased. It doesn't take long to figure it out on your own. I stick to basic staple items. Price/Value: The Key Card Items are the only way Copps remains competitive. Now that the store is being 'remodeled' items are being moved daily even within their department. Who does this? Stopping and shopping at this Copps is a 1 Star experience.

Ok. So I was in town for Trivia weekend. My family and I come to Point often to see my wife's…read moreparents but rarely do I eat with such a free will. I was trying to find a bonafide bakery for some serious donuts and apparently Yelp hasn't quite caught on in this town like I would have liked. I knew Copps had donuts, I am a former employee (of good standing) of 9 years. I know the quality and selection would be just fine. So Saturday morning, after the "running question" my cohort and I stopped at Copps on Church St. We chose a lovely array of a dozen + doughey goodnesses. They did not disappoint. Now, I know what you're thinking, Is there really a bad donut... hell yes there is and these were not them. They were supremely fresh, and down right incredible. So Sunday rolls around and I realize that my donut fix has not been fully satisfied. So I promptly got in my car and drove to the Plover location for another stunning variety of donuts. This trip was about 3.5 hours later than the previous days pick up and I wondered if the freshness could be topped. Once again, the donut were nothing less than stellar! Really. Run, don't walk to your nearest Copps, in any Wisconsin city for a donut of your choice. I believe that the consistency would not disappoint -The nice thing about having a business with many locations. Stevens Point/ Plover/ Whiting doesn't need a stand alone bakery as long as Copps is makin' the donuts...

Bummer, and maybe I should've planned better. Taco John's to the rescue? I gotta say, this is not my preference for fast "Mexican" food. I'm from CA, but love me some Taco Bell. Regardless, you gotta get the Potato Ole's. It's just fun to say. They are basically just tater tots, but the round flat kind like Burger King has during breakfast hours. The "hot sauce" is more like ketchup with an identity crisis. Nothing hot about it. The main meal items we ordered were fine, the iced tea was not so much brewed tea as mildly colored water. Whatevs. The thing about this place that stood out for us was the service. STRYDER was doing an awesome job when we rolled through the drive thru at 8:30p. Actually, more like he was doing awesome jobS because he was manning both drive thru windows without missing a beat. Sure we waited a bit , but assuming he was pretty much a one man show for customer service, the wait was understandable. I'm very impressed that the shop stayed open being so understaffed. He remained polite, friendly, and professional (hard to do under stressful conditions). So three cheers for Stryder! He's a great employee, and we appreciated his dedication.
