The food was so delicious and the service was amazing! The staff was so friendly and the chef cooked my steak to PERFECTION!! When we first pulled in, the parking lot was full, but there was only one couple in front of us and because they have a huge dining room, it was open seating. We immediately found a clean, open table and were immediately greeted by Denise who passed out eating utensils. Denise also came around often to clear our plates. The food was always turning, was fresh, and was so delicious! read more

This is one of my favorite spots to become such a favorite that the cashier at the register recognizes me when I walk in that's great service food always is hot out of the cook area all the workers behind the counters all seem to get along really well helping each other with what needs to be done as a team and as big as this place is, it's nice to see that people can work together as a team it's never too loud and it's just a chill awesome place to be whether it's just for a morning breakfast or lunch date or even groups for dinner or otherwise everybody on the floor cleaning our tables and stripping out. Drinks is very chill and very nice. Like I said I've always enjoyed myself here. Thank you all so much. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time.... read more

It was a bad experience the food was very bland with little to no flavor and the atmosphere was horrible the waiters were dropping plates left and right and making a mess I highly suggest you don't come here read more

Was good! Very busy. And didnt like the fact that they had to hand me my plate. That was kinda odd. But it wass not bad

Sausage, blue cheese dressing, fried and baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked and fried fish were all really good. Salad was meh. Dessert's were very disappointing. Plates, bowls, and silverware were dirty. I used a glass of lemon water to clean them before I used them. Hard to believe nobody checks them before putting them out for use, cause it was totally obviously dirty. Yuk. read more

Kept sending me to the wrong places, gave me embarrassment, made me tell them hi when I was laughing. Food was gross.

Always a Great selection of food. I sit away from the crowd and further from the buffet to avoid any over zealous diners.

I want to give my sincere thanks for giving me a free meal on Veteran's Day yesterday, 11-11-2025. It was EXCELLENT as always, and my family loves to eat at the Thornton, CO location. We come here about once a month. It is in a very convenient location, just East of 92nd and I-25. The service is ALWAYS FRIENDLY, the FOOD IS EXCELLENT, and the facilities are always well kept. That's why we come here! read more

I come here every weekend and sit with Denise great food clean bathrooms great service

Great wholesome place! Take my people here all the time to have lunch for our meetings always greeted with a smile and delicious food

Had a large group and one person came late and was paid for. Decided to take as a to go without eating. Was told we needed to pay 8.00 for to-go plate. Just left the food that was fixed. Will never go there again. read more

Service good as well as ambiance. Food Selection: The buffet spread at Golden Corral was impressive. There was a wide variety of options available, ranging from salads and soups to main dishes. Overall, my dining experience at Golden Corral Buffet was enjoyable. The wide food selection, tasty dishes, friendly service, and reasonable pricing make it a solid choice for a casual dining experience. While it may not be the epitome of fine dining, it certainly delivers on its promise of a satisfying buffet experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty meal in a relaxed setting. read more

Golden Corral Buffet & Grill - The steak as good as - Buffets Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

Honestly you know what you're getting when you come to golden corral. They've got everything you might need and more.

My brother and sister in law took the whole family here for dinner. For ~$18/person, it's not a bad route to go for a big family dinner. Not a fan of buffets, but it's ok once a very very long time. The food available was just ok. Service was fast, waiter attentive, and place cleanliness ok. It's a very casual dining, so don't expect it to be a 5 star venue. Giving 4 stars for the amount of food you get for the price. Overall experience was good. read more

The food is old and tastes like slop. The mash potatoes were old and tasted of gravy even though I wanted them plain. The Brussels sprouts old. There is no butter here. Only whipped cheap ass margarine. Nasty food nasty atmosphere read more

My family stopped going to golden about 6 months ago because it was over priced and the foid was not good. We returned tonight and were delightfully surprised that the price was about $5 per person cheaper, and the quality of the food was delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive and management was attending customers at the tables. They got our vote and we are happy to come back again. $18 all you can eat, so many choices of healthy home cooked foods. read more

The food here has been undercooked the last 3 times chicken was bloody, pork ws more than a little pink, breakfast sausage never done. service was really good no issue's and the place was clean as much as a golden corral would be. i would like to say overall it was ok but the undercooked food is an issue. read more

The service here is absolutely terrible do not waste your money here and waitress has bad attitude would not recommend coming here!

Food was hot and fresh. Everything was getting switched out and restocked accordingly and staff was helpful and professional.

Interesting that they had a regional manager contact someone else that had an issue I got a call from the store manager that said Next time I'm in look for her and they will make it right I am not about to go back and take an effort to hunt out a manager on a Sunday morning What a pain Just easier and cheaper to go to higher end restaurants that cost less read more

So I have finally decided to go back to Golden Corral because of the situation that happened earlier in the above conversation and I just want to say I'm really glad to see that you guys finally fired that manager that all he did was sleep in the office all day with the door open it was in the middle of the day and that guy would be asleep so hands down to whoever fired that guy but I'm very happy he got fired it was not a good look for your company Thorton colorado. Heroin users shouldn't be managers so whoever fired him WAY TO GO!!!! I'll be back more now read more

This place is so terrible! We can smell the musty carpet and restroom. When we get line to get the good i can see through the kitchen with wet floor and all dirty dishes everywhere. I ask for the spoon the lady dont even speak english it just fine but she get me a spoon with cooking oil on it. I used to love this place but i went downhill. Where is the health department??? read more

Ally was great and very friendly. We would like to come back because of her. She was very helpful with our refunds and was always smiling.

Paul Betchel, GM at Thornton, Colorado. Absolutely the worst manager I've ever come across. We arrived in line at 10 :53. Waited to pay for more than 8 minutes only to be told we had to pay dinner prices. I'm not upset mainly because of the price change. I'm upset because this manager treated us with no respect at all. My friend and I will never return read more

Not sure why we go to Golden Corral on Thanksgiving and wait in line for up to 2 hours in the cold. Must be the people. People in line are easy and fun to talk to and the staff there are always good to us. The food is mediocre and I paid $44.00 for 2 people and was out of there in 15 minutes. I know what to expect when I go there and I am exploring other options for Thanksgiving but the one thing that stuck in my crop was an off duty employee who was visiting. He was a tall, husky African American gentlemen who wore torn up, stained up sweats who drug his feet around the restaurant carrying to-go food, talking to and hugging female staff. When I ran restaurants one rule I had was that if an off duty employee came to the restaurant he had to be seated, eat and not wander around taking up other peoples time...ESPECIALLY on one of the busiest days of the year Thanksgiving. I wouldn't have noticed him except for his pawing of the females on staff and him getting in my way as I filled my plate with mediocre food.. read more

Ok , so we keep thinking a miracle is going to happen with this place, but, it just stays the same and management seems to get younger and less visible. At the main counter where you pay your introduced to one person taking your drink order, one person taking your pymt and 3 ppl standing around with 2 on their phones. Your not taking to your table but they point and say there's one over there. After your seated you make your way up to make your selections which at any given time may or may not be available. And honestly it seems like most of the staff could care less either way. There too busy flirting and harassing each other including the younger manager that I witnessed. They only had one person serving and cutting steak and you could just see the displeasure on her face. But who could blame her ? With all the bodies standing in front of the ovens you would think someone would help her out. The only decent thing that usually is consistently good is the chicken, even the desserts have went downhill!! For $18 a person you could do a lot better anywhere else. Would NOT recommend read more

Golden Corral Buffet & Grill - Dried Brisket,(burnt). Pork ribs no sauce and bourbon chicken with rice - Buffets Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

Food had no taste as if no seasonings had been used. Clam chowder tasted of the metal can it must have come from. No seasoning in the meatloaf. Salads unfilled. The mashed potatoes were as runny as the gravy. Small children without adult supervision grabbing food as staff watched and said nothing even though the sign told them that children must be accompanied by an adult. Stains on the plates and cut marks with more stains inside them seemed to be the condition of almost every plate. Dried up noodles. $65.00 for three adults. Yuck. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! Our family went yesterday 1-8-22, 10 of us, (5 adults 5 children,) 7 of us got sick, (5 adults, 2 kids). Stomach ache, diarrhea, vomiting. It will be a cold day in hell if we ever decide to return!! Would have given less than 1 star but yelp doesn't allow!!! read more

This place is the dirtiest place I have *ever* eaten (I've eaten from a roadside stand on the side of the highway in Israel...), I wouldn't have stayed if I wasn't at a family reunion where they decided that this was 'the place.' The kitchen was so dirty, I honestly wanted to ask for a refund because I was so grossed out. I ate about 8 bites of mac-and-cheese, and that's it. I was so worried about food poisoning. It was obvious that none of the employees cared about the food, or their jobs. They were screaming at/to each other across the room, and yelling for each other to grab more good, etc. There was so much food, and water on the floor of the prep area I was gagging. You could see that water was leaking from something and puddling over near the drain. Food, utensils, water, all over the floor. There was a pan of brats just sitting on the rack in the open air, without heat or refrigeration. I could see into the back, and there was just a stack of meat sitting on the counter with pans all around it. Honestly, if you ask me, this place is a food born illness waiting to happen. If you need to miss work, and you need a valid reason, eat here. I second what someone else said, go to http://www.tchd.org/404/Health-Inspection-Look-Up and type in the name and city of Thornton. So many violations :P read more

FRIDAY Feb 27th 2009: Golden Corral dearest, We came, we ate, we are slightly disappointed... I mean I think I am the one who is more disappointed. Hubs as usual does not expect much from Golden Corral. While in Thornton area, I ask Hubs if we could try Golden Corral for dinner. Its an American ALL you can eat buffet. Pretty OK decent food. Edible. Nothing fancy. At least they have variety. Be it from salads, pastas, seafood, meats, poultry what not. It seems that all the food which is FRIED perhaps comes from the same batter since I feel, the taste seems to be similar throughout. When we arrived there about 17:00hrs, at least there are several patrons eating at this eatery. Lots of families with kids even with Grandpas and Grandmas. Does that mean its a GOOD sign??? They also provide a private room if you intend to have PARTY gatherings for families and friends. Why I wanted to go here for dinner coz they have the "limited" Great American Seafood Tour "food spread" like: * Hand-made Maryland Crab Cakes * All American Hand Battered Fish Fillet * Crunchy Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp to name a few.... Only after sometime, while we were here eating there are many more patrons waiting in line. Man, this place indeed is thriving with business. Its a MAYBE for us to return but that will be unlikely. Another "downer" for us was the desserts. They indeed nearly made us gag after trying them out. I wonder if the cook or the baker ever taste the pastries.... Hmm, if only I can find a decent All American ALL You can eat buffet to fill my tummy... If only... For this Golden Corral, I give you 2.5 to 3 stars. read more

We've been to this location a few times. It's not my favorite place to go but the kids love it. The past couple visits were disappointing. We went Sunday night around 7 pm so I expected it to be busy. Despite our waiter telling us it's usually like this every Sunday night, the staff was not prepared for the amount of people. Prior to paying for the buffet you get your drink that you carry to your table. The young lady getting drinks was rude, didn't make eye contact or know who was next. They ran out of Sprite, Dr pepper & sweet tea. Which isn't necessarily her fault but she definitely did not handle it in a professional manner. Our waiter was very nice & helpful. Unfortunately he was overwhelmed & visibly stressed out. I do give him credit for making the best of it & pushing through the craziness. The food isn't great or wonderful but it isn't horrible either. The bathroom however is disgusting. Dirty, poorly stocked with rust & water damage. read more
