For the price you pay, this is a really good deal. If you are 60 years or older, you can get a senior discount in the early afternoon ($9.99 between 1-3pm). You also get a free drink with your buffet. This location is clean, modern and very stylish. I am used to the old Golden Corral restaurants that look like an old Ponderosa or Sizzler (if you don't know what I am talking about, you were not eating out in the 1980s...LOL). Their selection of salads, Mexican food, soups, vegetables, meats, pizzas, desserts and other items are really good. Many times you go to a salad bar and the leaves or vegetable are not great looking....not here....all the veggies look fresh and taste great.....The staff is constantly replenishing the food as it gets eaten. Nice waitstaff cleaning up the tables. The first Golden Corral restaurant opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 1973. Fifty years later, Golden Corral is America's #1 buffet and grill. Many other buffet restaurants closed shop during the pandemic, as well as some Golden Corral locations in South Florida but several are still going strong. If you are near one and get to go, hope you enjoy the good food !

Clean restaurant with good service. Food was appropriate temperature. Items at buffet where topped off. Plenty of vegetarian and meat options. Banana pudding was excellent!

The service was good, but as I got up to go get food I smell this funky smell. It smelled like straight sh**t. My food, it was pretty good. Although the chicken tried to k!ll me with the amount of salt that was on it. The desert, now I'd never think that ANYONE could mess this up. The disappointment on my face. Cake dryer than the Sahara Dessert, brownie taste like a crayon, the jello was good tho. But back to the smell. The smell was worse than a landfill it smelled like three cans of bounce that a$$ and a cats breath mixed with the teenage mutant ninja turtle sewer water. Now words can't fathom my experience here so I left some pictures of how I felt.

First time stepping foot inside this restaurant chain and what brought me in was their appealing and mouth watering commercials before lunch time on tv. This location is fairly new. This restaurant was so packed that people were waiting to get in. However, the line moves pretty fast; and once you pay, the hostess does an incredible job in having your party seated in no time. The buffet stations are all spotless and one has to wear disposable gloves to deal with the food. The staff is constantly cleaning stations and replenishing the food. Food - Is very well assorted. From diverse cooked & grilled steaks - to southern fried chicken - to assorted charcuteries - plus all types of pastas and pizzas. For the mindful and conscious eater, there's a salad bar. The dessert stations have cookies, brownies, soft served ice creams and anything in between that'll make a kid happy. Except for the salad bar, I tried a good amount of food from all the stations. All were fresh tasting, enticing and delightful to the palate. Just delicious...!! Not a place that I would frequent often simply because I don't want to have a cardiologist on speed dial but it's definitely COMFORT FOOD at its BEST..! Truly enjoyed the glutton-like experience.. Bon Appétit..!

The happy hour specials and prices were just too good to pass! We truly enjoyed every single food item we ordered, which is quite rare for me and my husband. The lovely hostess guided us to a booth by a window. We were greeted by our equally lovely server Jazmin (sp?). Btw, she rocks! Upon perusing the lunch menu we jumped at the deviled eggs appetizer. These beauties were two beet stained eggs cut in half topped with a spicy yolk filling and garnished with scallions, chicken skin crunch and trout roe. OH MY! My dear friend and dining companion was leaning towards a salad but we put on our thinking caps and decided that the fried chicken entree, which was accompanied by two sides and a biscuit was the best bang for our taste buds. And indeed it was. She ordered two pieces with greens and mac + cheese while I chose three pieces (thinking ahead to lunch tomorrow) plus the mac chz plus sweet potato soufflé (that was Thanksgiving babe!). The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and we had nothing but praise for the sides. To top it off...Nanner Puddin'! Just like mom made but no Jello pudding here. Amazing. Since it was a weekday, we got to meet the chef and give kudos. (He's a happy dude) I wouldn't care to come here on the weekend when it's packed but I can see why folks do. The place is enormous with a huge outside venue and a sprawling banyan tree. Plus the Sunday brunch menu is tempting. But for a chill lunch with nice employees and scrumptious food on a Thursday, we were star struck and satisfied.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a cute outdoor bar area with stools where you can eat and hang out, which gave the place a really nice vibe. The music was a great mix of R&B and oldies too. Now let's talk service... for me, service is everything, and unfortunately that's what made this experience disappointing. Our waitress, Haley, was pretty inattentive throughout the meal. We asked for extra Caesar dressing and never got it, and it was honestly hard to get a hold of her most of the time. Because of that alone, I'd probably think twice before coming back. As for the food -- it was hit or miss. We started with the wings as an appetizer. They were flavorful, but nothing memorable. I'd probably skip them next time and try something else. I ordered the crispy Cobb salad because it sounded amazing on the menu, but it was a letdown. It was mostly lettuce with barely any chicken, and I had to mix the whole salad myself. At a restaurant, I kind of expect a Cobb salad to come already tossed together. Also... no blue cheese available? Come on now lol. My boyfriend got the fried chicken with sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. I will say, everything came out HOT, so you can tell the food is made fresh. The mac & cheese didn't look impressive at first, but it tasted SO good. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. My sister ordered the lobster pasta, and honestly the portion size shocked me in the best way. They were generous with the lobster, which almost never happens, and she loved it. My daughter got the crispy chicken sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had, so that was definitely a win. Overall, the food itself wasn't bad at all -- my salad was just a flop. If the service had been better, this review probably would've been very different. Not sure if I'd come back, but maybe on a different day with a different server.

Such a fun night out spot. Food wise, the oxtail mac and cheese was INSANE. Easily my favorite thing we ordered. The fried chicken was also so good and I honestly wish we ordered more. The music was great, putting the audience in a good mood, ready for an eventful Friday night. I was hoping to enjoy a meal, but I was highly disappointed. Let's get into the details: Apps: Oysters- I wasn't a huge fan of the Coco Passion mignonette; it had a subtle flavor and missed the brininess of the oyster. The house-made hot sauce definitely made it more flavorful, adding spice and acid. Also, why weren't they chilling on ice? Rating 3/5. Conch Fritters: Fried, fluffy, and tasty. It was also paired with a dipping sauce to add a little bit of twang and spice. Rating: 3.5/5 Entree's: Jerk NY Strip- I would never qualify that as a jerk sauce; there was no spice, it was more like a sweet chutney sauce that smothered the steak. The steak looked and tasted like it was boiled, with no sear. The rice was crunchy and a little undercooked. It reminded me of the scrapings from the bottom of a large pot of rice. The plantain needed to be cooked a bit longer; they were really firm. Rating: 1/5 Cornbread crusted snapper- The fish was fried well, but it was underseasoned. You could tell they didn't season the fish fry batter. A bit of salt sprinkled after the cook would go a long way. The beans were tender and also a bit underseasoned, but the dish was very light. Rating 3/5 Oxtail Mac and Cheese- That was more of a safer and tastier option, but I'm not sure why a lot of the sauces are so sweet. The mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy with tender, shredded bits of oxtail. Rating: 4/5 I would come back for drinks and live music, but I will definitely skip dinner.
