But I'm so glad we did because it's such a cute diner, the servers are so friendly, and the food is AMAZING! I had the club sandwich and it was delicious, and the fries are so unique and perfectly crisp! My son had the chicken tenders and the breading didn't stay on well if you cut them up, but it was so tasty!! My son is pretty fussy about tenders and he ate most of his chicken! My husband had the biscuit blowout and he thoroughly enjoyed it and the portion was quite large! My daughter had a pancake with egg and sausage. Everything was delicious except for her sausage, it was super salty. But the pancake was so good! I wished we lived closer to come here more often but this will definitely be our go to spot whenever we are in Guthrie!

I was with a group of people who almost all ordered something different. I wanted to like their food, we all did; it simply lacked in flavor. Even a little salt would have helped some of the dishes, but salt would have helped only so much. I was disappointed, as were the rest of my group. We won't return on our next Guthrie visit.

The parking looks sufficient enough, gas prices was good this trip. Inside looked clean and roomy even the restrooms were clean. That's kind of expected with it just having its grand opening. There were plenty of options for food and drinks. A cold sandwich bar and a place to order hot food, we got a slice of pizza. Right now there's a special: Buy 1 large pizza, get another 1/2 off. The employee we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. She told they also have a Casey's rewards app that you can download then when you come in you just have to enter in your phone number. A pretty cool place to check out! We'll definitely be back!

No smokey flavor, smoke ring, or bark. I don't know what they use the smoke shack out front for, probably just for show. Salad bar did look fresh, and I saw it replenished frequently, as that was apparently a popular menu option. Our waitress was honest with us and very personable. Our order did take over 20 minutes to come out, and one item was brought later than that. We did ask a fellow diner what was up with his barely-eaten chicken fried steak and he said it tasted burnt and had not enough meat and too much breading. There was another table that had lots of food left on it after the diners left, and one plate was chicken fried steak. We feel if the waitress wasn't so forthcoming about the operations, we might not have been so accepting. We feel the quality of her service was better than the quality of the food. We probably won't be back.

Saw a bunch…read moreof authentic cowboy hats coming out when we arrived so I figured we made a good call on where to find a good steak. We did. I had the special and the ribeye was perfect. Most everyone had a ribeye and I think there was one filet and everyone said the same, the steak was delicious. The sides were a bit of a different story. My special came with a twice baked potato, asparagus and carrots. I wish I could say those were as good as the steak but they weren't. The asparagus was basically a garnish (although good) and I wish it could have been one of the sides instead of the carrots. The twice baked potatoes tasted fine but basically came out room temperature to everyone except one. That one was hot. The carrots just need to be taken off the menu. Come up with something else, give more asparagus or make the carrots interesting. Put as much effort into them as everything else. They came almost like they were partially raw fresh carrots and some cooked mixed in. They were not good either way. None of us who ordered them, ate them. Our server was excellent, and the food came fairly quickly and everyone's steak was perfectly cooked to their liking. Our drinks were right on time as well. At 35-40$ per plate, I felt it was reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambiance of the train depot. It was nice that there was plenty of parking too. I'll definitely be back and I'll update my review but I will not be having the carrots.
