You eat off butcher paper, surrounded by your paper towels. (Don't expect Christofle flatware and ambient lighting, hon. Ta da. Done and done.) No, the fried chicken pretty much HAS to be good because -- let's face it -- that's what you came here for. (Admit it. You drove all the way to Hennessey and you want a good meal.) This place also offers chili pies, hamburgers, nachos, and other pub-type food just as Eischen's does, PLUS more -- a "sit down" restaurant menu. (My sister-in-law liked her pork chop dinner, for example. My brother-in-law was fond of his burger.) The table service we received was warm and friendly. The parking outside was more than ample. I wasn't fond of the loud jukebox playing, nor the use of all that Styrofoam and plastic in the dining room. (This place seems dead set against the idea of washing dishes as needed. They even had a nice little build your own salad bar that was well kept and one of the servers was even kind enough to give me a beer on the house after I told her about the drive I had to OK. Nice people, great atmosphere, and good food. That's a win all day in my book.

This chain allows you to swap both the drink and side for something dairy based. In my case, I swapped the pop for a small chocolate shake and the fries for a Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt with peach was fantastic. No sugary syrup, just real pieces of peach. Would've gotten some to take home if I had a bigger fridge and cooler. The only complaint I have is that when selecting easy ice on the app it's a 50/50 on if they will actually give you easy ice. I know it's a stupid thing to get upset about but I barely get anything to drink when they put their regular amount of ice in.
