As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods.

There weren't a lot of people there but a few call in orders were placed while we dined. They had great music playing but not too loud and there's a large and smaller tv for watching the game while we eating. I got the burger which was very good and she got the fried catfish. It was delicious as well, though pieces were pretty small. We both had fries which I was more than pleased with. The tartar sauce was made in house also tasted good. The two of us ate for $24. Ain't nothin wrong with that! We'll certainly be back.

This place is as Okie State as anywhere in town, with multiple levels and people EVERYWHERE. Want to visit on a fall Saturday game day? Yeah, so does everyone else. But Eskimo Joe's is big enough to handle a LOT of people, what with multi-tiers and decks to accommodate those crowds. I can't imagine what the fire marshal has to go through when assessing the place, but hey, they serve good bar & grille food and plenty of drinks, so those are wins, right? Find a seat - often 'open' seating during those busy-busy times - and you'll have a screen sightline in any direction. Sportsball is everywhere, and with numerous bars in different areas, you don't have to go far to get a drink. The menu has some, uh, college-friendly eats, like Frito-pies & smothered fries, big burgs, & more, like the Messy Pig, a delicious disaster of a pulled pork sandwich. It's not exactly that heart-smart variety, but YOLO, and they do have plenty of light fare. Grab a beer in their recognizable plastic cups and just kick back and enjoy. The food is good, the drink prices are fair, and the atmosphere is more than just Joe College. Service comes at you from all directions but you're free to sidle up and get your drinks wherever you find an open spot. Happy hour runs afternoons Mon-Fri and the service staff will tell you that every day is 'fry day', suggesting fries smothered with goodies. You're likely not parking right in front of EJ's, but that is kind of the mystique. Also, don't miss a run through their branded merch store because the Eskimo Joe's logo is fairly well-represented everywhere. Yes, it's a 'bar' and yes it's loud, but soak up that college-y vibe at one of the premier spots in Stillwater.

Plentiful seating. We ordered a set of onion rings/zucchini sticks that were very good. For our main meal, I had a Sweet Pepper Bacon Cheeseburger and my wife had a Turkey Malt. Both were good. Turkey was a tad dry but was otherwise tasty. The VERY BEST was our server! She was a student at the university with a great background working with horses her whole life. Nicest young lady we could have met on this trip. Will definitely be back to Eskimo Joe's next year while in Stillwater.

Nashvird was a pleasant oasis from the chaos downtown. I got a hot dang salad with grilled chicken, and it was exactly the refreshment and substance that I needed. With level three spice, it was just on the verge of being too hot for me. It was excellent! The patio is spacious and the indoor dining area is also clean. Service was friendly and paper towels were plentiful!

Here is what we ordered 2 hot chicken sandwich combos, one with tots and the home-wrecker sauce, the other with fries and the original hot dang sauce. Fried pickles, Mac and cheese tots and 2 drinks. Chicken was good but was overly seasoned with what they toss it in I assume, nice and moist chicken but way way way too salty, tots were very undercooked, fries were great and still crispy. Fried pickles were sliced paper thin and was mostly only the batter Mac and cheese bites were phenomenal. My biggest complaint was nothing was packaged with care and everything was tossed around in the bag, For the amount of money that was spent, I would say proceed with caution as it may not be what you're expecting, not sure if I'll give it another try.
