I've celebrated two of my birthdays at Heydy's, eaten there a hundred times, and they just keep getting better! I believe their chips are made in house, and they are so crispy and delicious! Their Horchata is the best I've ever had. They were always my favorite restaurant, but I was a little disappointed in their salsa. But as of today that is completely resolved! I got a spicy salsa to go and it was amazing! I drive 86 miles from OKC just for Heydy's!!! read more

The breakfast burritos here are probably the best in all of Enid. I get the sausage burrito, and what ever sausage they use brings back so much nostalgia because it taste like the jimmy dean sausage packages my family would use for breakfast. My husband gets the bacon and he loves it because the bacon taste fresh and the chub is are big and not straight from a package. Overall these burritos are great for breakfast because they are super filling and not greasy and not heavy in your stomach! We will be going back! The restaurant is nice inside too! Cute set up and the service is great. You can do a walk up and order or you can have a waitress service. Super nice! read more

I really hate to leave bad reviews but this was the worse dining experience I've had in several years. On Saturday, we brought 2 guests who'd flown out from Georgia to visit to see the salt plains and were lured by the Yelp rating. We were seated quickly enough, in the order of empty booths. Then things went downhill from there. We were eventually asked what we wanted to drink. One of our party asked for a Modelo. She didn't understand him so he went to the counter and got a beer. We were all given red glasses then those were all changed out for clear glasses even tho some wanted tea and some wanted water. After the order was taken from the booth in front of us, the waitress went around us to the booth behind us to take their order. Meanwhile we sat and sat. Finally I asked why we were skipped. Eventually it was explained that because our guest got a beer from waiter #3, that person had to take our order. Apparently that was the drive thru person, who never bothered to come to our table until I asked what was going on. Now let's switch to the food. The restaurant uses the word "artisanal". There is nothing artisanal about thickened pepper juice in squirt bottles. No tomatoes, no onions, just pepper juice with seeds. Eventually our food arrived. No sauce on the burrito. No cheese. It was the driest burrito I ever had. My friend's taco salad had very little lettuce. The quesadilla was acceptable and the pork on my husband's plate was dry. I have been to excellent Mexican restaurants with different kinds of salsa and to call this place "artisanal" is an embarrassment to all Mexican restaurants. read more

Beyond AMAZING! Walking in the restaurant is sparkling clean and comfortable. There were people ordering at the kiosk, drive thru and picking up online orders, It's because the food is STELLAR! My order was taken quickly and the food came out very fast. The carne asada street tacos were to die for! The meat was warm and succulent. The chips and guac are all made in house and a must have with every meal. By far the best thing on the menu is their spicy salsa! Finally a spicy delicious salsa in Enid! read more

Things to know before you go: -Each salsa is different. The "hot" salsa is not just a hotter version of the "medium" salsa. -The chips are made fresh in batches. If you get some from the end of a batch that are a little stale just let them know and they'll get you a new basket -Like the sign says outside it is "Artisanal Mexican Food". Things like the small building and drive through can make this place appear like it is fast food but all entrees are made to order. My experience: So far I have had each of the three salsas and they are all wonderful. Fan of tomatillo and citrus? Try mild. Like roasted tomato and cilantro with a hint of spice? Medium is for you. Hot is more peppery and less smokey. The asada street tacos are amazing. I'm guessing they were 4 inch tortillas so not huge but extremely flavorful. read more

They put so much thought into their food! I can tell with the flavor in every bite, they do not use the basic ingredients like most places in Enid do. This is more authentic and cleaner than several places I've dined at in this town. Their broth for the birria tacos is so rich in flavor and you can tell they clean the fat and oils out of it before serving, this really shows the thought they put into it. My daughter is OBSESSED with their food!! Having the welcoming atmosphere and hospitality service, is an added reason as to why this is the only Mexican restaurant, we will take our money to!! This restaurant is a fusion of fast food setting with a true Mexican restaurant menu. You order at the counter, get your own drink, and bus your own table, but the food is excellent. All food is prepared to order in the kitchen and is authentic, well presented, and very flavorful. My lady had her usual quesadillas and I had the smothered shredded beef burrito with a yummy green avacado pepper sauce. They have a nice salsa bar with 4 choices of heat and they bring homemade chips to your table. The food was excellent and they gave you a lot of personal attention in spite of the appearance of a fast food joint. Prices were good. Good selection of Mexican traditional drinks including Mexican Coke in the bottle. We'll go back. read more

It's hard to beat great breakfast tacos and burritos paired with homemade salsas and fresh juices.
