Should I drive my SUV with the back seats folded down? All the posts on my FYP seemed to suggest that I would hit the Halloween decor jackpot. I encountered several hiccups on the way due to my GPS misdirecting me -- one trip to the Old Orchard Country Club. I was so disappointed. Basically not a HomeGoods at all. Not the vibe I was looking for at all. This is a giant warehouse (somewhat) filled with indoor, outdoor, housewares, tchotchkes, etc. If you need an outdoor pot, a plant stand, a side table, towels, glassware, etc., they have it all, and so many kinds it'll make your head spin. There were lots of items on clearance. At Home is filing for bankruptcy and will close stores. Perhaps that is why the store had several areas that were bare. I don't know if this is one of the locations that will close, but they shoulda had their Halloween stuff out. I will drive anywhere, spend anything, if it means cool Halloween stuff.

Because it has a big pipe vent that went out through my cedar shake shingle siding, some residing needed to be done as well as patching the exit hole. Drywall work, residing and all the small details were completed with precision as well as repiping the gas line. I'm very happy that I chose NWMC to work with again this time. He would never walk into a store, look at the merchandise, and then go buy it on Amazon or from another online seller. That loyalty is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. He went in to buy 4 patio chairs. The staff told him the chairs on the floor were discounted 25%. Then they said they didn't actually have 4 at that price, and he would have to pay full price for all 4. He could have saved $200 per chair at another store, and they knew their price wasn't competitive. Even so, he stayed loyal and bought all 4 at full price. You would think a local business would meet a loyal customer in the middle after advertising a discount it couldn't honor. Instead, there was no effort at all to make it right. The service was very poor from start to finish. Lesson learned about where we will shop again. If you're looking for a competitive price and good service, go elsewhere.

There's Curbside pickup here too, but people kept honking atthe guy parked at curbside, because it's completely in the way of main traffic flow and should be moved to nearby parking spots.
