It's a delight that engages all your senses. So much beauty surrounds you. Truly one of my favorite places in Elgin. The staff is so super attentive, kind and treat their customers wonderfully. I love this store so much because of the beautiful and unique items. Fran the owner of the store makes my experience pure joy from the moment I walk in. I feel welcomed immediately. I will go out of my way to shop there because I always find just the right thing and I always feel happy when I leave. This store is a beloved pillar of the Elgin community. There are tons of different signs with so many different fun sayings. If you can't find something you enjoy here then I don't think it exists! I don't recall seeing any clothing or jewelry. Not a huge selection, but I'd say each and every piece seemed to be carefully chosen. This is definitely not junk. Every piece had character. I wish I had a nice house & a lot of money so I could fill it with things from Steeplechase. They are only open three days and for six hours each day, but the employee (and owner?) said they list everything on their website; big plus. I'd say that's a star alone. I really appreciate when companies or stores do that. It must be a lot of work, but very convenient. I will gladly recommend this shop to others. I really wish they had vintage jewelry, but then again, I appreciate what they did have. Had even priced handmade options that were coming out over $3K - yipes. Then I saw my perfect table online from their shop in Long Grove. It was the perfect shape and style, and Matt and Meghan helped figure out a way to refinish it just the way I wanted. I am so thrilled and the experience was really fun and amazing. So happy with my new table - and its something that will be in my family I hope for a long time.

This is a great spot if you're in the mood to shop or just meander. With vendors upon vendors, it's almost as if you're shopping at a bunch of mini stores. Handmade items, vintage goods, collectables to items you didn't even know existed. I've been to quite a few of these consignment type stores and I was very impressed at how organized and clean this market was. They even have a cute area in the back with free coffee, little snack samples and a place to rest your feet. The prices range from vendor to vendor but overall seemed pretty reasonable. I was impressed they have essentially a whole jewelry store in here where you can not only purchase jewelry but they repair items as well and were very informative. The space is a large warehouse-type of building with its own large parking lot making it very easily accessible.
