Also, make sure that you've got time to browse-there are two stories of awesome finds! Lot's of antiques, art, vintage clothing and more. Big collection of vintage cookbooks and cookware. The store reminded me of antiquing with my mom and had me wanting to bring her ASAP. You can tell that the store's owner takes a lot of pride into her business and the store is a reflection of that. I bought two really lovely bookmarks. I'm looking forward to a return visit soon.

The antique part runs along side of the main attractions. There are many small booths that run through 4 buildings. Lots to look through. They were sincerely trying to help me and looked through all the phones there (a lot ) every time I went in. You know how it is. You tell yourself you're going to back up those PICs and the information on all the people you need to stay in occasional connection with but you just don't realize how much you don't do this until you lose a phone. But the weeks turned into months and I gave up hoping I'd ever recover that phone and then 6 months later this nice fellow from Ford Bros. tracked me down by calling my contacts to return my phone! He gets abandoned phones in lots from places like municipal governments or whatever and before he sells any of them he goes through each of them to make sure they are clean and that is just unbelievable. Mine was in a lot he picked up from some town in Southeast Wisconsin so how it got there from State Fair is a mystery that will probably never be solved. He went through a lot of trouble to return my phone to me and then tried very hard to refuse my reward. Actually I'm not sure that he ever even cashed my cheque. That was Cole but I'm betting his brother is just as ethical. They have a Milwaukee location too, if you need to move antique, collectible goods or liquidate an estate you can bank on the honesty of this operation.

So I went and found many vendors inside the building and few stationed outside the building. Lots of interesting stuff, The majority of the vendors had very fair prices but a few were ridiculous. Some of these sellers have been watching too many episodes of "American Pickers" and they think old rusty tools and old oil cans are made of gold. Besides that, the fairgrounds were clean and free of debris, so wheelchairs could be maneuvered without too much difficulty plus plenty of parking. All in all, it was a pleasant shopping experience.
