Came here for my first time and i was impressed at first but very quickly that went away. It was nice because i felt like i was being pampered at first and then i noticed the guy doing my acrylics had NO idea what he was doing. all my nails were lumpy. Some other lady came over and took over finishing up for him which caused them to argue in front of customers...not very pleasant. i at one point had 3 people working on my nails all trying to correct the other. These acrylics are crooked and still fairly lumpy as she seemed to have given up trying to fix them half way through. none of the corners are sharp as i asked for them to be multiple times and the polish is put on way too thick. when i showed them the design i wanted they were a little rude about doing it. i paid $45 for a set of acrylics that i could have done better myself. The best nail salon hands down. Everyone was friendly. The place is clean. They go above and beyond with their services. My mani and pedi were flawless. They use parrafin wax on your heels and hands. And.... You get a short back massage while your nails are drying! Prices are reasonable too. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

Love this place! The gel manicure always lasts 3 weeks from here. Seemed like every other place I went to, the polish would be chipping within the first 5 days. Today was my first time giving this salon a try after hearing about it from a few friends! I was really excited for the paraffin wax treatment and the neck massage that I was told happened with every trip. I always get gel manicures, and one thing that usually concerns me is having my entire hand under the UV light for extended amounts of time..they are the first salon I have ever seen give little fingerless gloves for you to wear while your hand is under the light! I was really surprised but actually very thankful! Overall, I'm very pleased with my manicure, and because it was my first time I received a coupon for $5 off my next visit, which I will definitely be putting to use! They also have a deal for every Monday through Wednesday that anyone can get $5 off a regular, or gel manicure! I guess I should say that a gel manicure here was $30, which is about the going rate, but for the fact that you're getting the wax treatment (which just saved my dry winter hands!) and a neck massage included, its pretty great! read more

I love coming in and getting a pedicure. They are extremely clean at this establishment. The employees care about you and have great personalities. I don't trust anyone else with my feet or nails. They take their time because they care about their job and their customer. They give amazing massages throughout your visit with them. I have been searching for a decent nail salon since I moved to johnston 3 years ago. I had been going home to MA to get my gel mani pedi's until now. I walked in at 5pm and was taken right away for a gel manicure. The salon was clean, the staff were very friendly, and that had more gel colors than I e seen anywhere. I paid $30 plus tip which is a competitive price. I was also informed that on Mon Tue n Weds it's $5 off a gel manicure. I was in last friday (3 nights ago) to get gel polish on my nails. It was an enjoyable experience and all but, it has only been 3 days and the polish from my thumb has already chipped. My first time in here was mother's day and I got gel back then as well. Last time it lasted for over 3 weeks. I think it depends on the nail tech. read more

I want to love this place because their prices are standard and they deliver pretty good service (massage, hot stones with pedi, hot wax with mani etc). However, I got a gel manicure last week and half my nails are already peeling. This happened my visit prior to this as well. My two thumbs and index fingers started peeling 24 hours after getting them done!! I went back to get them fixed no charge but now my other nails are lifting as well. For $30 for a gel I will be looking for a new place to try out. I just want my nails to last! read more

I'm very surprised to see the two poor reviews for this place. I"ve been coming here for months now after I finally gave up on my previous go-to place down the street. In any event, here are the basics: - Cleanliness: definitely a 5. This is a bright, clean and a professional looking salon. I'm not an expert on equipment and can't tell whether it is new or not, but it is very well maintained. - Staff: also a 5. They are very friendly and actually talk to their clients as opposed to yelling at each other in vietnamese (which is my typical experience at a nail salon). They are upfront about wait time. If you want to make sure you are taken care of right away, make an appointment. (Although I never had to wait more than 10 minutes). - Service quality: I'll give this one a 4. My one complaint is lack of skill when it comes to massaging feet after a pedicure. I do have to give them a thumbs up for not beating your feet senseless and calling it a "massage". Some of their technicians are very good, but I did have a couple that didn't quite know how to properly massage. In any case, the pedi turned out great each time and I hope they take advantage of this feedback. - Price: I think an average pedi price is $25, here you'll pay $30. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but the quality is well worth it. Overall, I give them a 4.5, but am rounding up for potential. read more

I recently patronized this salon on July 2,2016. I went to this salon because my regular salon was full and couldn't get an appointment. This place is fairly close to my home so I figured what the hay, why not! I went in for a shellac mani and a regular pedicure. Well it started out well my pedicure looks great! But, the shellac manicure I have to say was less than desirable. Now I get this type of mani all the time! For me they usually last a minimum of 3weeks. With that being said, my nails chipped less than 24 hours after my visit. And one of my nails actually only had one coat of polish applied. I hadn't noticed during application because of the way they were cured. She painted two then under the light. It got super confusing trying to keep track. So I went back on Tuesday July 5th and had my chipped polish fixed, oh and did I mention that during my "mani " my nails weren't filed correctly so they were nice and rippled and jagged. They where never soaked or had any of the other traditional manicure things done. I did get a paraffin treatment. Whoopi! A second coat was applied to my thumb. But, sadly after they fixed those three mishaps my other nails chipped and I wasted $35. Which is also more expensive then my regular place where my paint lasts longer and my nails are cared for correctly. So needless to say I peeled off the rest of the polish (which I should not be able to do). And ate the fact I payed $35 for one day nails. So the mani gets a big fat 0!!! The pedi gets a 4, only because I was never asked if the water was ok it wasn't it was too hot. I had to call her back from another customer to cool it off. So will I return to use my $5off coupon? Maybe for a pedicure only. read more

This place is amazing. Unlike a lot of other nail salons that I have been to, the employees here are very polite, the place is SPOTLESS and the service is amazing. Every technician is extremely meticulous and takes their time so that everything is perfect. For $40 dollars I got a mani/pedi which included a hot stone massage on my calves, paraffin wax on my heels, an amazing massage on my legs, a paraffin dip for my hands, a shoulder massage, and of course a trim and polish. My daughter and I stopped here on Mother's Day for the first time for pedicures. They were very professional and accommodating. We were pampered from start to finish and they didn't rush us despite it getting a bit busy. The massage on your neck and back while you're waiting for your toes to dry is awesome. My friend and I went here last month for her birthday. When we arrived there were many people working. The manicure stations were full and there were 4 other employees with no customers so we were taken right away. There was only one woman getting a pedicure. We sat down and put our feet in to soak. Not two minutes later the young man who was doing my friend's pedicure took her feet out. She asked several times if she could soak a little longer and he either didn't understand her, pretended not to understand her, or ignored her. As she asked several times throughout the pedi. I was able to soak a little longer but not much. My last pedicure I had chosen the OPI color Amazon...Amazoff which is a dark emerald green. When the girl started taking my polish off, you could tell she was perturbed by the dark color and how hard it was to get it off. She immediately began speaking the young man working on my friend. They went back and forth like this the whole time. They ignored us yet spoke to each other constantly throughout. They rushed through the pedicures and they were the worst we had ever had. We sat under the drying table for about 5 minutes and when we left, the woman who had been in the chair getting her pedicure before us was just about to get her hot stones. We had been a couple times in the past out of convenience and the girl even remembered us and asked at the end if we had our stamp card. You would think they would want to retain business. I will NOT return!!! I went based on the reviews on this website. "price was great"~~the price was $$$$$$60 for a gel mani/ reg. polish pedi. They don't tell you when you go in you get the full service pedi unless you ask for the mini pedi, so I got a 30 second back massage (which I did not want) while the wax dried on my hands from the wax dip which I also didn't want. The baths are "lined with a new plastic." Yes, they are lined and the liners keep getting sucked into drain and making noise so the nail tech or someone else that works there is between your legs trying to stop the noise. And also when they remove them from the tub when you are finished there is a hole in the bottom for the water to drain, so not much more sanitary than not having one. My toe was cut during the pedi which I wanted to go back and complain, but was leaving on vacation and had no time. On vacation the gel nails started to peel on the 6th day. To top it off, one of the other clients was making and receiving calls on her cell the whole time I was there. Not a relaxing experience~~not even sure why I left a tip. WON'T BE BACK!!!! read more
