They gave us a time frame and called before coming. They also pre-provided the plumbers name who would be servicing our home and just some info about him like what his hobbies were. Great personal touch and we felt like we already knew him. There is a level of comfort there. The plumber quickly diagnosed what he needed to do when we told him what happened. He came in and quickly resolved our problem. A very nice polite young man who enjoyed his craft and is very knowledgeable. Lastly their price is VERY FAIR. Not expensive and that is also a plus. While we hope never to call them again, if we needed to we will call Universal Plumbing. Give them a try!

Got a call from Jimmy Wednesday morning asking if he could come over earlier. No problem! Come on over! Jimmy arrives at 12:20, and removes the temporary lock, and after some adjustment procedure on the new lock, it was installed. Door now locks perfectly, and is back in the original looking condition. The original estimated labor charge was now paid. The process of fixing the Pella French door took longer than expected, only because of getting the needed replacement parts. I don't hold that against Handyman as it was beyond their control. The work done by Jimmy B was first class and yes I would recommend Handyman to those who require that type of service.

Hardy Plumbing came out to reinstall our toilet after repairs were made to the flooring, and this is how they left it. Now, I have to have the boards around the toilet replaced because the workmanship left them looking like someone had finger-painted around the toilet and applied gel to the caps. I called to explain the situation and specifically requested that a different technician handle the reinstall after the next repair. Given the quality of the work the first time, I don't feel comfortable having the same technician return. Unfortunately, I felt completely brushed off.
