My resized ring all polished up and beautiful
Sue M.

have been dealing with Gold and Diamond source for years....buying and selling gold and diamonds. They always give me top dollar when trading something in. Just picked up a ring that I had sized. The stone is a Blue Zircon, my birthstone. The stone has looked cloudy to me the last few years no matter how much I cleaned it. When I picked up the ring today the gold was shining brilliantly and they got the Blue Zircon looking like the day I picked it out. I can't say enough about the quality of their pieces or the friendly helpful nature of their staff. Their own line, JULEVE, has the most beautiful different styles of jewelry I have ever seen. 100% recommend them as your family jeweler. You won't be disappointed....

We found our jeweler! We will always come here. Debby is simply amazing! We love her. She listens, works in our budget and celebrates every milestone with us. Our relationship with Debby and Gold & Diamond Source started almost 3 years ago with a wedding ring (that purchase has a story!). Then diamond earrings for an anniversary and now a diamond necklace for a birthday. Debby truly loves to make peoples dreams come true and she's done that for us. Gil & Marcia Lapastora

The owner of this establishment got totally butt hurt by my review of the superficial edge his store has. He totally ignored the fact that we had a great experience with the staff members we encountered. We weren't railroaded or pressured in any way. We were happy in all ways. I also found the atmosphere in there superficial. Well, when they totally cancelled my account unilaterally, telling me that I'm no longer welcome to step foot in there. They also told me he preferred I return the ring (with which my wife is totally pleased) and give me a full refund. Well as I stated earlier, I'd not step foot in here again anyway. My exact words..."Would I return again? Double hell no!" I still say the same. For one thing, as I also stated, I have little regard for jewelry and baubles as it is. Then "someone" had the nerve to sift through all 260+ of my Yelp reviews, call ME rude and mean spirited before attacking ME. That also goes to prove my point of the superficiality surrounding this business, aka the Grand Central Terminal of jewelry stores. If "management" sees fit to kick me out of the store and refuse to allow me back, that's "their" business, even saying "they" would keep me in "their" prayers!? I don't need them, nor anything from "their" condescending commentary and superficial slander. I still spent my money there to ensure my wife's pleasure. I still found the sales experience seamless and pleasurable. I still found the whole experience favorable. If this Diamond Merchant can't take constructive criticism, this "family business" doesn't deserve the favor of my business in the first place. So for which of these sins are "they" first to cast a stone? 3 and a half stars down to 2...

They even let me design a new wedding ring for my wife using the original ring and other diamonds sold to me from there. I bought a Rolex Watch for almost $1,200 less than the other shops. They also took time to inform me how to identify a fake one from the real ones. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will never spend my hard earned money for jewelry to any other store but Arnolds.

I've been doing business with Arnold's for over six years and have always had positive experiences, until now. I brought in a 14k gold brooch to sell, but Ray didn't even bother to look at it. Instead, he went off on a tangent about losing money on resin-filled pieces that turned out to be fake, which had nothing to do with the item I brought in. He didn't even take the time to actually look at or test the piece. It felt like he didn't want my business at all. I was honestly so baffled I left. When I got home, I tested the brooch again. It definitely was 14k gold. I called the store and spoke with Ray. He told me to cut it in half and if it's hollow bring it back and he'll buy it. If he inspected it from the beginning, he would've known that. The brooch was light and there were two tiny air holes on the back. I've been buying and selling gold for quite some time and know what I'm doing. I returned less than an hour later with the brooch and a 10K stick pin I had shown him at the initial visit. The brooch weighed 5 grams on my scale, but when I asked about the pricing, he said they go by pennyweight. After doing the math at home, it appears I was shorted. I always check the live gold price on their website beforehand, and I feel what I was paid didn't reflect their rate. To make matters worse, the 10K stick pin he had just valued at $58 the initial visit was only paid out at $32. I didn't catch this until I reviewed the receipt afterward. With the amethyst stone removed I know it had to weigh at least 1gram. Should have paid out at about $50 not $32! Over the years, I've recommended Arnold's to many people and even left two 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google. I've always worked with Zack or his sister and never had any issues, which is why this experience with Ben was so disappointing. If I choose to sell here again, I will definitely bring my scale to double check weights and pricing. Especially when dealing with Ray. I'd like to add that we don't just scrap at Arnold's. My youngest has bought Pokémon cards here as well. I have to say, they have an amazing selection. Especially when it comes to the Japanese booster boxes.

I didn't expect to meet wonderful women that showed support for being a young mom and understanding of our budget. I've had the pleasure of working with Andrea and Katrina and I love them! I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted but she was able to help me with all the different styles and options. When my ring came in I was immediately in love! Sometimes it's hard to feel confident when your not picking something that you can see and try but Andrea is an expert and knew what size and weight would look good. Sadly, I must have whacked my ring on something because a stone went missing. I was really disheartened but brought it back to Old NE Jewlers and they fixed it even though I hadn't realized it was my fault at the time. This is my first ring so I know to be a bit more conscious now. I want to say thank you so much to Andrea and Katrina! I am an avid vintage and antique watch collector and Strickland Vintage Watches has some stunningly…read morebeautiful and rare watches for sale, but I have a couple problems with them and their business. The first problem I have with them is that their watches are INSANELY over priced. This company does a lot of business on eBay and that is where I first found out about them because I was always seeing their watches for sale since eBay is where I get the majority of my watches from. Well, I noticed that they had some incredible watches so I checked out all the items they had for sale and I noticed that they were selling two watches that were identical to two watches that I had. The only difference between my watches and the watches they were selling is that one watch I paid $150 for they were selling for $1700 and the other watch that I paid $200 for they were selling for $850. When I saw this I was blown away, I thought "Are my watches really worth that much?". So I sent them a friendly message asking them what made the watches so valuable and and I never got a response. After that, I thought that they might have missed the first message so I sent them another message a couple weeks later saying basically the same thing and once again, I got no response. I was kind of irritated because of there blatant attempts to ignore my inquiries, but I dropped it for the time being. Once they ignored me I began to do my own research on the validity of their prices and that is when I found out that this company sells watches for appallingly inflated prices. When comparing their watches to other watches that have sold on eBay that were identical to the ones they were selling, I found that they sold watches for five to ten times what they are actually worth, and the sad part is that people actually bought them even though they could have got the same watch for a fraction of the price. The second problem I have with this company is how rude they are. Like I said previously, they blatantly ignored me on ebay but that isn't even the worst part. A couple months later after I had found out what a scam this company is, I found their Facebook and liked their page because like I said before, they do have some amazingly beautiful watches for sale and I do enjoy looking at them even though they are over priced. Well one day I decided to publicly call them out on their dishonest business practices since they had ignored my attempts to ask them about it in private. They had posted a picture of a watch and this is what I commented. "Don't get me wrong, you guys have amazingly beautiful watches, but why are all of your watches so overpriced? This watch goes on ebay for around $150 - $300 depending on condition, $1295 is insane. I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't take it that way, I just honestly want to know why your watches are so expensive compared to other watches that are identical" Here is a link to the picture that I commented on. You can follow their link and see the price and then look on ebay for yourself and you will see what I am talking about. (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=485583291531855&set=a.485583211531863.1073741883.167742863315901&type=1&theater) Anyway, after I commented that, instead of private messaging me, or commenting back with an honest answer, they deleted my comment and blocked me from their page so I couldn't comment on anything ever again. To me, this shows what kind of business Strickland Vintage Watches is. They know that they overprice watches and they don't want people to know that. They are trying to prey on people who don't know what to pay and that is incredibly dishonest. Stay away from this business, if they are selling a watch that you like, check on ebay for it first, I guarantee you can find the same watch for way cheaper.

Bill has an attention to detail that he exudes throughout his business and it shines through each vintage timepiece he offers. Bill prides himself working with and understanding artists, but I would most certainly say that he, as well as the whole Strickland team, are artists- appreciating each style of watch in its own right and producing incredible photography highlighting not only the watch, but also the human interaction with timekeeping. It's all very beautiful. Strickland Vintage Watches as a whole was very patient in dealing with me, and overly kind. I can also appreciate the old-school "taking a client out to lunch" thing. It's a great touch for the local folks that are looking for a vintage timepiece. I cannot recommend them enough.
